Well, since I finally graduated from college I cut my hair and sent it off to the Locks of Love program, 11 inches gone and I already miss it...lol I usually do not burn but yesterday I was working outside without a shirt on and my back has a red square on it right where my hair use to be...lol I guess that hair was helping to shade me...lol I posted up the pic as my profile picture and thought I would share...

Yeah, sometimes I donate my pubes to 'em. It's a good cause and all, and it makes me feel good just knowing that my pubes will be put into good use being wove into an area rug for some poor needy children who's legs get cold from sitting on the bare floor.
Not only do I get karma points, but it kinda makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. |

Give it again. That was a very cool thing to do bro. My respect. (don't sweat employment with long hair....it is completly acceptable when done right....AND...there ain't a douche bag out there who will give you crap when you tell em that you grow it for Locks of Love) Ps. What did you study? |

Grats bro! I am working on getting mine out again. I usually do it every 2 years. I let it get to about 18 - 20 inches, then donate it.

What an Awesome thing to do!!!
We donated my granddaughters last year. After I explained to her what it is used for she was all for it and she was 7 at the time... I would do it but they will not accept mine. We have a guy at work that grows his just for that

That is indeed wonderful. My lady recieve a wig from Locks of Love. She was indeed very happy to have a real hair wig. It made the last months of her life wonderful.

I am going to grow it out again, just next time I cut it I will leave a little more than I did this time. The website says they need at least 10 inches so when I grow it out again I will wait until it is at least about 14" long so I still have some for myself...lol. Now I only have about an inch back there.
It is not really saving any on the shampoo and condition yet, I forget that I do not have as much hair and I squeeze out plenty in my hand before I remember... I guess my hair is going to be in REALLY good shape...lol I was in school for Drafting and Design, who ever I get hire with I will make sure on their dress code first...there are still a lot of super conservative people here in Arkansas. |

I donated 11 inches a few years ago...it started WWIII with my Dad who cussed me & left my baby sister's graduation, but I felt good about it & wouldn't hesitate to do it again. |

This is me right before I started my chemotherrapy...they said I was going to be bald, so..... I shaved my head and gave it to "locks of love" also. I kinda liked being bald... its so easy!!

You also find out your head shape real quick!
