WHY does this website, repeat the members on the "who's online" search? I mean, Really? 33 pages. Are they trying to make it look like there are more active members than there really are? Not to mention its discouraging seeing the same names after the 5-6 page, its like Ok so who haven't I seen. Its very discouraging. This is one of the reasons so many people get frustrated with this site.
The other would be all the members that have not been seen in over a month. I already know the "how would you feel if you have a crisis and the site had closed your account" answer. But perhaps it would be nice if you added hasn't been seen in two months, three months, over a year.(I personally know of at least 5 people who this frustrated to the point of them deactivating their accounts) which is more than I can say than about loads of others.
Also just a thought , perhaps it could be added to be able to have people in your area located at the top of that list. Might help your success rate.
Please moderators pass this on to the powers that be. It would help greatly in cutting down on people frustration.

On the "Who's online" option, I just go straight to the last page and work my way forward. It works alot better! ^_^

Not always, I clicked on 20 people in the chicago area last night and NONE have been on this site in over a month. That's also 20 NEW people I clicked on. I wasn't checking profiles for my own interest, I was just backing up Troublebug's point, and that's what I found also.

The first problem seems like a glitch,
seeing the names appear more than once.

The second, however, is simply overcome.
Search criteria are ordered by their
last appearance on the sight.

Once you run across someone who has not
been seen 'in the last month' everyone
after that person will be that long or
longer. Everyone forward of that person
is more recent.

soufie and Tat (love) I mean in the "whos online" you know the one that shows you who is on the site right now. It shows duplicates and triplicates of the same people. Not that the regular search is not annoying enough with the whole not been her in a month. which I think it should have 2,3,4,5,6 , never on here. Some people would just stop logging on, and simply not deactivate their accounts.So i say if not on here in two months. send them a message that their accounts will be deleted due to inactivity. But I digress

The repetition in Who's Online is certainly a bug, but I am not able to say when it will be eradicated, unfortunately. Who's Online is quite dynamic relative to the other Search functions, as users are always logging in and out. So, the nature of this correction to Who's Online is difficult. That said, it can certainly be accomplished. In short, at this time, we do not know when the fixes will be ready.

On a positive note, Who's Online is still very usable. One will still see a solid majority of different accounts as he/she goes from page to page.

It is reaffirming to see that people rely on Who's Online so much, so thanks for the posts and insights.
