I was born in Lufkin and raised in Diboll. Used to play Trinity in high school football. I left that hell town the day I graduated from high school.
There is a little place there on the lake near the KOA campground that has great catfish. I was through there a couple years ago. |

I know what you mean. We played Groveton too in football. They were always a tough team to beat back then. Those boys are corn fed.

I'll bet. I don't know if Diboll still plays Groveton or not. I try to avoid going back home if I can. All my family is gone except a couple of sister-n-laws. I have a niece that used to live in Trinity but lives in Shepard now. I don't go see her either.
