Growing up I have traveled all over this great state of ours. I actually do not like the extreme heat but I love that if you don't like the weather, just wait like 5 minutes and it changes
I've seen it go from sunny and beautiful to stormy with a chance of tornadoes in like half an hour. |

Actually there is not much I don't like about Texas evidently..........I have hung around here for 50 years of my life.. My Family is here my kids were born here as well as my granddaughter. It is where I call home no matter what. It may get hotter then hell but yet I welcome the heat after what winter we do get. Laying out by the pool with family and friends are the bomb. Ohhh and being able to BBQ year round I'm a native Texan. Born in East Texas. I think that crazy clown on here is an East Texan also judging by his comment of keeping his meds in his gun safe. That's close enough to be a redneck clown.... I mean town. |

The ability to swim 11.5 months a year. LOL! And don't have to drill a hole in ice to go fishing. LOL! Oh so very true! Actually, we'll set up a black box with black piping through it, and a plexiglass top on it, on the roof of the carport and pump water through it as a solar panel that warms water. Works perfectly! |

Let's not forget the size of Texas. It can be raining and 80 degrees in Houston, snowing in Dallas, a blizzard in Amarillo, and 102 with bristering sun in El Paso all at the same time.

He's a transplant to East Texas....but has put down a good root system. |
