Are an elite few born to be geniuses, or does genius reside in each and every one of us?

Are you talking about IQ or wisdom?

I want to know more if it is something a long the lines of if we all process the ability to become geniuses or whether the brains are fundamentally different genetically when born.

Hmmm,

Good question.

I have always believed anyone can accomplish anything they set their minds to.

Then I ran into two guys in the Army. Wasn't so sure after that... laugh

Hey, hey, hey! I just got out of the military, but I understand what you are saying! laugh

Here is a great report from BBC about the different scientists around the world who have come up with their conclusions on what makes a genius. Tell me what you gather from it when you get a chance.

imho, some people have to work hard to achieve what other people seem to have given to them. others just seem to be at the right place at the right time

I would think it's both. Some people do have better genes I suppose, but we all posses the same abilities. It's more a matter of determination I would think.

I wonder if it has something to do with the amount of Neurons one has or produces. If that is possible.

Aren't neurons the conductors of our brain functions as far as I understand. I am not sure if the more the better, or if it has something to do with life span of one that makes them function at a more advance level for us to comprehend things better.

I know that we use certain parts of our brain and they have shown studies of how our talents show how some areas of the brain is used more then others.

It is a complicated matter! lol

I don't expect a scientist to suddenly pop up on a dating site and to provide answers. I just wanted to know what you think without research on the matter. That is what I am doing at the moment although the video I provided above does show various experiments of what could be.

nothing comes easy, even tho we might be blessed, we still have to work at it... sometimes it just sucks having a 243 IQ...

I don't know.....

I am not sure as to which parameters you are using the term for...

I have met some people that have an ingenious outlook on life, on their world, and have the scope and latitude mentally, to live their lives accordingly.

Isn't it all relative? Do we not use ourselves as the baseline, and then compartmentalise others who are perceiving in a broader way?

At this rate you may be correct! I hope not! I have been planting palm trees the last two days, but it is simply too hot lately here in Florida. Whew! I can't imagine what you are experiencing in Australia....oh wait! You gals are experiencing winter now right?? lol

Did you know that the trees absorb our carbon dioxides! The reason why we have fossil fuels today. Our planet was full of carbon dioxide and the palm trees as of other plant species simply absorbed it all in and died. It eventually sunk into our earth to where we can dig it back up for our energy purpose.

It is interesting to also see that we have now (only 4 I think) nuclear plants that uses fossils fuels but actually maintains the carbon dioxide output by putting it back into our earth instead of letting it out into our atmosphere. In Algerian in the middle of the desert is such a plant available.

I will see if I can find a video if possible, but what a ((genius innovative idea)) right!
