Topic: Do you date fat chicks? | |

So sick of this same question in its many forms I would not date anybody who had to compare me to other people. I am a larger girl, and I would not be who I am today if I were not. We are the way we are for a reason. I have tried to lose weight, it just doesn't happen. But I have issues out of my control. Contrary to popular belief, I do not spend my life sitting in front of the tube stuffing my face. Sorry for the outburst, just couldn't deny y'all my .02 It's not about comparing one to another. It's about what each of us finds attractive. The real question everyone has to dance around is; does fat equal ugly. |

The old saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is so true. I have a friend who carries quite a few extra pounds and had a mastectomy a few years back. She is currently dating a slightly younger man, who is very attractive . . . . and very nice! I'm jealous of course, but the fact is when you find the right person to be with, you tend to love the way they look. You just have to be open to people vs. Ms. or Mr. Good Looking.

To each his or her own. Exactly. I'm not a skinny girl, but it would be silly for me to get upset because some men won't want to date me because of that. We all have preferences. I'm not going to fit into everyone's preferences and not every guy will fit my preferences. |

Yes or no? but I might point out that what is "fat" is relative compared to skinny and tiny I might look big (but not fat as I am not fat), but compared to an overweight woman I look small - really I'm about average but it is a relative term anyone is fat who is bigger than they want to be - so in that way I do feel like I am fat sometimes |

Was that on Mingle? That's crazy he should find someone else and she should dump his sorry *** |

I have no idea. But, if someone is going to lose weight, they need to do it for themselves, not anyone else.

Weight can be lost. Ugly attitudes are much harder to get rid of.

Ugly attitudes are much harder to get rid of. yes I spent so much of my youth trying to be skinny and when I look at my teenage photos now I was already pretty thin...but it was never enough it can take a long time to learn to value what is inside a person when we are raised to emphasize the visual |

Weight can be lost. Ugly attitudes are much harder to get rid of. My theory is that if a women has a few extra pounds it is the mans duty to work it off of her. A steady regime of sex does wonders for a woman's figure. You just have to make certain she is the one doing most of the work. Haha |
