I still don't understand your point. This is how wars are fought. from the beginning of time, the goal has been to kill or capture the top leadership of the enemy. This is not news to anybody. What are you trying to argue? Or do you even have an argument? Or was this just an opportunity to tell me how rude I am?

The topic is not about how we fight wars. he topic is about how the people at home react to a victory. You are off-topic.




i hate to admit it, but i agree with you here... cut off the head, the body dies... same with war, take out the leaders, and the rest should fall...i don't see any reason to be upset bin was taken out, it needed to be done, but it would have better 10 years ago...



I agree, his removal, through submission to capture or death, was necessary to begin to decrease the strength of his followers, not to mention the wealth of information they will now have after going through his things and his documents


it was an ongoing 'war' with our militants and his, and he could have been a prisoner or casualty of the war, it happens he ended up a casualty

am I happy at his DEATH, no, but I am joyful of the closure to that chapter of suffering
