Its a bit early for the fourth of July, heck Easter isn't even here yet.

We just have one of the biggest fireworks companies here on Long Island (Grucci's) but having fireworks are illegal here for everyone else.

We just have one of the biggest fireworks companies here on Long Island (Grucci's) but having fireworks are illegal here for everyone else. Isn't that just about the stupidest law! We can buy them anywhere in Arizona, but cities can ban the use of them; however, you can go anywhere in the county and light them off. Lets ban them in cities where the fire dept. can respond quickly and have people go out into the county where the fire dept. can be 45 minutes away!...I don't understand lol |

Got some tanks, chickens, whistlin gators, whistlin' chasers (w/ report), dancin' daises, picolo petes, purple rain fountains, boiling point fountain, amazing fountains, crazy eye balls, a monster truck, cracklin' cactus, and some cracklin' crazy ground hogs! |

Haven't really thought about it, but since I live downtown now, I may just stick around here and see what's going on. I believe they set off fireworks a couple blocks from here.

I'll probably get a small can of black powder and a steel pipe.
Put a cap on one end and tap a fuse hole for it. Place about 2 ouces of powder in the bottom and pack it with wadding. Light the fuse and run. BOOM! |

I'll probly get called in to work to replace one of the patriots that suddenly becomes 'ill', as it has been since I'd started employment with this outfit.
I'll get home and enjoy a brew or two in the yard, amongst the lightning bugs, and await the impending call that Sumdumdum won't be in, in the morning and could I 'help out'. At least I can sock em for holiday pay. Oh, the merits of not having a life! |

I love the 4th of July.
I usually go south and watch them on the beach in central California. They do a fireworks show in SF but you usually just see flashes colors through the fog. |

Seriously, this year every household will chip in on my street, and we'll detonate a nuclear device. They are not as expensive as you'd think, you just have to know where to get it cheap. Costco sells a ten-year supply of a family pack for a good price, but for real deals you have to travel across the border, over the north pole, just go up from where you are. Cross the pole, don't change your straight path, and you're bound to hit and old and forgotten silo in norther sibreria.

nothing. for obvious reasons... Your friend is coming for a visit? Inquiring minds want to know. We don't celebrate YOUR independence day... and I do have a friend arriving in a week...and another from the other side of the pond, somewhere around November.. but so far the slate is clear for July... |
