tell her to turn that off click on the red icon on the system tray near the clock then go to where the list are one of them may say not active there should be a place where she can turn that on then there should be a box that says i have one already use she should click that then that will go off

on other thing i can think of is do system tools then go to restore should take u back to the time when it was working

well hopefully she can figure out why i won't work but what ever she does don't use AVG for a fire wall like i said the best one i like is Zone Alarm never had any troubles with it what so ever

well guys, suzanne has one of those pay cell phones and her card just ran out of minutes. she won't be able to get to walmart until friday. there is a cat who works at the facility who can help her, but he is off for the next two days. hopefully we will see her on soon. i'm off to drown my sorrows in beer. thanks to everyone for all the help

Let's try this. Open Internet Explorer Go to Tools, Internet Options In the General Tab, Delete all the temp. files, cookies, etc. Then, click the Secuirty tab and reset all zones to default level Then, click Privacy tab and reset to default Now, go to the Connections tab, set to default In the Connections tab, click LAN Settings, and that should all be empty. restart IE and see if she can load google.com
