Just finished watching:
Deadly Games (1982) A town is being terrorized by a masked killer who is murdering women. A young woman is attacked by the killer but escapes. She believes the killer to be either the town's policeman or the manager of the local theater, and she devises a plan to find out which is the actual killer. |

Did you like it? Yet another from the 80's I haven't seen. *hangs head in shame* Don't worry, I'll still talk to you. I didn't like it much, though I thought they had a pretty good beginning and the lead actress' personality was so unlike most women characters. But the first quarter was the only good thing about the movie, after that everything went downhill. Even the lead character's voice grated on my nerves after awhile. lol. The unveiling of the perpetrator was a bit anti-climactic too, in my opinion, though the ending was a bit different. |

The Children 1980 aka The Children Of Ravensback
"....thank God they're somebody else's!" An elementary school bus passes through a toxic cloud turning the kids inside into zombies. But these aren't the Romero zombies, no eating of the flesh, no bullet through the brain to take them down. These kids want one thing....a hug. Of course these hugs cause the recipients to burn like crispy critters. I've been a fan of this film since the first time I saw it back in the early 80's on TV when it aired on USA Network's Commander USA's Groovie Movies. The film freaked me out, partly because the kids look normal, the only psychical change is their nails are turned black. The other is the sound they make when they are killed(which I have read they used the sound of cats in heat). And after all those years the ending is still effective. The film's score was provided by Harry Manfredini, who is most famous for creating the iconic Friday The 13th score, as a matter of fact the score for The Children is the exact same score used in Friday The 13th, most likely this saved on cost. Written and produced by Carlton J Albright and Ed Terry, both would later collaborate on Luther The Geek(Terry would play the title role) Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHcuwjKhRKs |

I'll try to find more you haven't seen. Ohhhh, a challenge! More likely a challenge for me. Do you know how hard it is to find a movie you haven't seen? |
