Do you ever feel alone even though your surounded by freinds and famly.. you ever just feel somethings missing and you cant quite work out what. mayb the words not alone mayb the word to use is lonely but i cant shake this feeling .. i .. well i just wonderd really anyone else felt like this ? Its weird sometimes it goes away when you can ocupie yourself with something but it allways comes back. At 1st i fort i was just feeling low but i dont allways feel sad when this feeling creeps its way into my head.. iam baberling on anyone have any thoughts on my meesed up babberlings ?

It is impossible to feel alone...for with every breath I take, every morsel of food I consume...the electricity to drive the computer, the dwelling I live in, has me connected back....by simply participating in the process or end result.

I impact on the planet by my very existance, therefore I am NOT separate...my actions have reactions...as does everyone else's...we are interconnected on every single level and layer...

I know what you mean as I have felt that way before. I'm blessed with a great family and great friends, but sometimes, you feel like there is no one who connects with you on that intimate level. I guess that's why we join "dating" sites in the hopes that we can get to that level with someone. Just an idea, dude, hope you feel better.

Coincidentally, I've found that this feeling becomes more pronounced as I'm around friends in serious relationships, marriages, etc. cause then you really start to wonder if you'll reach that intimate level with that one woman.

I can relate to your feeling " Alone in a Crowd"
There are a lot of people who look toward Spiritual groups or self help type discussion groups for this reason.

I personally have met MANY people who say that.
"They never felt they belonged" No matter how many friends, they have or even how succesfull they become !

It's is also described as an emptyness or hole (in the gut)

Also, most people who suffer or recover from various addictions describe the same feelings and that only through belief in a higher power is the stress reduced (Not removed) just reduced.

I am 57 and have met and known hundreds of people personally with these feelings. So, you are not alone

PS when i speak of Spirituality I am NOT speaking of religion !

Reach out and keep looking for a group of like minded people.

12 step programs are great and ACOA Adult Children of Alcoholics is
also an excellent group if there is or has been addiction in your family !
