there is a thin layer of snow over a layer of ice here in san antonio, and the highways have been shut down. it's good because people in this city when they drive over a patch of ice will slam on the brake, let go of the steering wheel, and scream "sweet mother of jesus save me"

Johnn's winter driving tips:
1) if you "fishtail" always steer the car in the direction you need to go 2) Never apply the brakes or the gas in a curve 3) Carry a big blanket, boots, candles, granola bars, big bag of coarse salt, flairs and keep a full tank of gas(just in case)and Don't worry about water, you can always melt a lil snow 4) Give yourself 5-10 car lengths of space ahead of you. Do not attempt to pass anyone. 5) always let someone know where you're going and when you expect to get there and what route you're taking. |
