This problem is far bigger than some transient farm workers picking fruit and vegetables.

when in the nevada and california area it came to my attention that it was difficult to obtain work in construction (unless you spoke spanish), defficult to obtain work in the concrete precast industry (unless you were willing to do skilled workd for unskilled pay - and spoke spanish).

Me and a friend once drove a car into the parking lot of a precast concrete company at a high rate of speed, stopped in a cloud of dust, jumped out of the car and shouted INS at the top of our lungs...

In roughly 15 minutes NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE (except for two welders - white... and a forklift driver - black) were left in the assembly area... the owners were quite pissed.

Imagine that

Did you bother to turn them in?

The company that is.

There is a hotline just for that purpose.

Truth - He has not made large, media broadcasted raids...

Instead his administraton has made 'paper' raids which have shown some amazing sucess.

But the bottom line is still quite apparent...

Close the border. Then take care of the problems created by having it open...

In a humane but effective way.

Yep.
Just like all the rest, he's being well paid for his failure to enforce Constitutional Laws.

Poppycock!

Get the facts straight!

Saturday, December 12th 2009, 8:43 AM
Almost a year after Obama, President Obama took office.

Immigration agents arrested 280 people in California in their biggest push yet to round up suspected illegal immigrants with criminal records in local communities, authorities said Friday.

More than 400 agents and local law enforcement officers fanned out across the state in the three-day search led by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

"These are not people who we want walking our streets," ICE director John Morton said. "We're going to focus on those people who choose to pursue a life of crime in the United States rather than pursue the American dream of education, hard work and success."

The operation came four months after Morton said the agency's fugitive operations teams would increasingly focus on finding people with criminal records and would no longer use arrest quotas.

The teams arrested twice as many immigrants with criminal records in the 2009 fiscal year than during the year-earlier period, according to agency statistics.

They did all this at a time which saw unemployment jump to record numbers and illegals going home due to the fact that jobs were scarcer than ever.

Obama supports legislation which would do just that.

The 2007 Comprehensive immigration reform bill which Obama supported would do just that very thing.

Pro-Illegal=Anti-American.

Again. Hussein is negligent in enforcing constitutional law.

I think Joe Arpaio has arrested more illegals last quarter than Obama has since he's been in office and that's probably not far from the truth.

In the northeast, nurseries (trees, shrubs, and flowers....not babies) are often responsible for bringing illegal aliens into the region. Once here, they move into restaurants, cleaning, construction, etc. The nurseries are just a way to get into the country on a work visa. Once the visa expires, they move on to a different job rather than leaving the country. In fact, workers in the DMV have been caught selling fake IDs to illegal aliens here in Connecticut. So, this isn't just happening in the southwest.
