good gawd, you're my baby sister's age. You were in junior high when I was rolling down the slopes.

It got to the point I didn't even rent the skis, poles and boots anymore, I just rode up with them and drank and rode back, after stopping at the gazebo of course.

I hate to break it to you but your baby sister is old. I remember the first time I went skiing there. I was in 9th grade. It just so happens to be the first time I ever had an egg mcmuffin sandwich from mcdonalds..........

My best friend was an exchange student from Switzerland, she tried and tried to teach me to ski, since she grew up skiing in the Alps and all...she was appalled that we thought Snowtrails and Mad River were ski slopes and then even more appalled when I couldn't even manage those.
I had to have been a sophmore for her to have been here that year - in 1977, baby sis was in 5th grade then??
You had to have been thinking girls still had cooties at that age.

Now I feel old and I gotta go to work tomorrow, but I am gonna see if the gang wants to go to Schmidts for lunch!
