Well, if anything, I have learned 3 things from this post:

1) The Russian Women must be a scam. If I had women like that banging on
my door everyday I wouldn't need to be here. Right?

2) You guys/gals ROCK! Advice was great and I got a few really good
laughs.

3) Brandy12345, Russian men probably stay home and drink their vodka all
day, pass out and never get the chance to email anyone. Why do you think
the women there are contacting US? lol Consider yourself fortunate.

just to let you know they are most likely scammers i was emailing back
and forth with one russian and she would not answer the questions i
asked and after just a few short emails she said she was willing to come
over here to see me this was deffinetly suspisious to me so i did
alittle searching and found a site talking about this very thing and lo
and behold there was a letter to another guy word for word the one she
sent me. Now i am not saying they are all scammers but there are sites
dedicated to revealing the true scammers just type Russian Scammers into
any search engine and you will see the flood of cases about them as well
as their pics

I decided to reply back to one of my Russian "fans" the other day just
to see what happens and how far I can go with this before the subject of
money came up. (I must have too much time on my hands or something -
lol)

Of course, she is drop dead gorgeous, late twenties, no kids and has
never been married - quite typical from what I gather from these
"women".

Anyways, I ask her questions like, "How come ya never been married?" and
other trivial crap and she writes back with an answer to not one of the
questions I ask. She just tells me that she is looking for love and to
start a family. Kinda soon, ain't it?!!?! lol

My favorite is when they start off - in their first email - as "I liked
your 'structure'".

yeah they are scammers i did alittle reasearch on it and for the cost of
a visa and plane ticket in us dolloars is bout 750 dollors but that
translates into about 43000 russian dollars so i wouldnt send them a
dime if they ask for it. if they truly want to come over and meet you
let them pay for it. they must think all americian men are stupid. The
last one that tried to scam me got her emailbax blown up. I sent her
50,000 emails calling her a scammer and had a little itty bitty surprise
for her to havent heard from her since.

I think at this point I would rather pay $750 for that "little itty
bitty surprise".

Yeah, I have been contacted before.
Most of them want to get you to believe that they love you so you can
send them money.
Hopefully... no guy is crazy enought to send money to a woman he has
never seen, or meant.

wrote him back and told him I had a son almost his age and he needed to
