What about inside. Right now in the warmest room in my house I am wearing thick socks, slipper booties, long johns top and bottom, leg warmers, heavy sweat pants, a heavy shirt and a knit neck warmer (like a scarf with no tails to get in the way that you slip over your head. When I move into the next warmest room to watch tv and knit I will add my heating pad to lean on and double a big soft blanket over my legs and tuck it under my feet! Depending...I might also add my fingerless mittens.

And yes this all true!

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL WOWWWWWWW must be a very cold house turn up the heat:))) rofl then you feel warm in shorts and a t-shirt:) waving flowerforyou

Wish I could, it's a matter of unemployment - $$$'s out, no $$$ in!

Also if I don't block the heat from whooshing up the stairs it will do so and leave me with little to no heat downstairs where I spend my time. So I have basically no heat upstairs. I am fine once I get under the covers (I do have great covers) but there were times last winter when I could see my breath up there!!!

I guess its easy for me to be honest I don't wear a skirt or a Dress i don't even own one lol so I'm never cold unless I wear shorts lol
well see in winter most normal people wear no shorts out right but a skirt i saw and no nylons and they wear feezing surprised laugh

The woman dressed like this in a climate where she was freezing either needs to worry less about how she looks (or thinks she looks) or make a trip to the local Good Will and get some winter clothes.
well i think they were going to a night club one i saw and saw couple just walking down a street but i can understand if they had nylons on or long socks but i see this alot and tthey shiver i feel like saying want a huggggg but then i don't really know them so i say are'nt you cold they say freezing just surprized how many do that shocked:thumbsup:   flowerforyou

I've never had a job where I was required to wear a skirt or dress, so I tend not to wear them when it's really cold. But, I would imagine a long coat and tights would help.

And boots. While uggs are horribly ugly, a lot of people seem to like wearing them.

when i was a Realtor i did sometimes and when i was an office manager as well especially when i had to run the dept of transportation pre- bids .. i had to do some of the presentations to the contractors bidding... so i had to dress nice.. actually there are thicker nylons that are warmer than cotton pants are... winter stockings...<nylons>

Why?

Cause they look good and the women know it. Saw a chick in a mini skirt during our last freeze as she was walking out to her car in some hump me boots and a little jacket and it looked great! I gave out an "OWWWW YOU LOOK FINE!!" ..she turned back and grinned big.

If you got it flaunt it. If you don't...cover it up.

Pretty much the same reason that I dont mind being naked in a crowd.
