I feel you can to an extent, but that would come with in time of being on the forum. There has been a time when I thought someone was being real with me but found out latter they weren't. Thats when I was new to dating sites and realize I had to open my eyes to things.

I think you can get to know somewhat about the person through their posts, but you have to read a lot of their posts and really read between the lines.

It may take some time getting to know them to see what they're like either way. |

does not everything show and tell self something? so there is no NOT learning, about OTHERS, lest one falls prey to but proving how words are not true. yes, a parodox, but just the same... each word tells one WHO another is. IF oneself does not but see these things called "words", as but whether they shall GIVE SELF WHAT IT WANTS. these that think as such, will be constantly feel tricked or decieved and declare many other's NOT HONEST, but indeed, WHO THEY WERE, WAS THERE, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ONE'S FACE, but it only HEARD, based upon IS IT WHAT SELF "WANTS"... and find disapointment time and again. some so much they give up, thinking it is others. or resort to absurd to attain indeed others are a part of the equasion... but oneself, SEEING """ITSELF""", AS THE ONLY PART OF THE EQUASION, that is keeping self from finding and having what it wants, will EASILY guide self to ALL IT WANTS. if one want to solve all, simply remove what self wants long enough to see all. about all. and there is no deception remotely POSSIBLE TO BEFALL ONESELF |

Get an idea on someones personality by them posting on the forum? if they post often enough on enough topics,,yes I think you can gauge the basics such as their behaviors, beliefs, values, etc,,,,, as Maya Angelou says "when someone shows you who they are,,,believe them" |

Get an idea on someones personality by them posting on the forum? I think it's really up to the poster. If he/she chooses to be open and put himself/herself out there in a genuine and forthcoming way, then, yes, it's possible to glean some inkling of what the person is like in a somewhat deeper sense. But not everybody is going to be open in this way, and that means a lot of personae on here are no more genuine than a plastic statue of Santa's favorite elf. |
