I'm sure everyone here has heard at least a little bit of information regarding the mounting tensions in both North and South Korea. Now what we know is that the only real ally of North Korea is the Communist China wich isn't a small issue. China posesses the largest military in the world followed by India then Pakistan, all of wich have conscription. China has openly admited that North Korea is acting simillar to that of a spoiled child. My questions are as follows; First...Do you support the war games that our allied forces are conducting? Why? The second question is are you prepared to fight a war against one of our oldest enemies?...Communism. Keep in mind that it is no secret that they want to wipe all westerners off the map. We know peace talks wont work, we have tried. All avenues of a diplomatic resolution have been exhausted.

If they would draw a line and tell me to kill everything on the other side of that line, gladly. Go into a Vietnam or repeat of N Korea 1950's? NO WAY!

I support the war games. We are showing them we are not backing down. If anything we should mass up troops in the surrounding areas, hit their ship yards, military bases, capital, artillery fields, nuclear reactors with tactical nukes and neutron bombs, and human wave all the way to the border of China and ask then fu**s what is up?

I see what you mean andy. Keep in mind that the results of those wars were the fault of some crappy leaders. Our forces went in to those wars over confident, and under prepared. I can honestly say that the like of the first Korean war as well as the Vietnam war will never happen again. We have much better computer equipment now that really does destroy the possibility of guerilla warfare.

The Chinese can take out USAF GPS satellites.

Take out 3 or 4 and our smart weapons are useless.

You could then take out the whole 5th fleet before we could reposition another one from a different orbit to even see what happened..

Incorrect sir. Are you aware of what defence systems are in place to protect our military satellites? Trust me when I tell you that what you are suggesting is much easier said than done. We could drop 100 nukes on china then what?? That just doesn't work. China WILL NOT side with N. Korea for several reasons. 1- It would be political suicide, 2- Even China can't beat all of europe AND north america, 3- China is condemming the actions of North Korea on a public scale.

Do you frealize you shot yourself in the foot with that comment....because you cant afford to let anything happen to south korea or Japan, it's all the more reason to protect them no? Also it is a known fact that when a country that is an industrial power, ( such as th US ) goes to war, it actually stimulates the economy. People begin working for the war effort. ALSO, to the losing side of the war, Lets say its north korea and china, history has proven that the loser gets the debts and the winners get the spoils......come on now....

Everyone gave Regan crap over Star Wars. Now Obama has made significant cutbacks in funding for missile defense. What baffles me is that we do share some of this knowledge with allies like Japan because they are helping us develop it! Now look at all the money China gave us in loans. What happens if N Korea drags us into a war? I bet money China will back down fast and Russia will bet on the outcome. China stands to loose a lot thanks to N Korea. I seriously think China is looking at the military aspects of this and what their involvement will lead to. They sure in the heck are not wanting to get themselves nuked over N Korea. If Japan is nuked we are treaty bound to retaliate immediately in kind whoever did it! If N Korea does it we nuke them automatically!

China needs to tighten their leash or we are going to spank their dog! We got new weapons that are seriously scary! The XM 25 for instance. A grenade Launcher that puts death where you need it. Then there is the AA 12 combat shotgun now entering service that has 'special' ammunition. Also we have dedicated cold weather training now and equipment meant to deal with the cold and Korea got BRUTALLY cold, enough to compete with North Canada's coldest winters! We also have artillery munitions that are not spoken of much in the civilian world like a special pseudo cluster bomb fired from cannons.

Nothing though competes with the terror of NAPALM! And their armor? AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAH AHA HA AH AHAHAHA...

War is unfortunate but without the resolve to face a hostile adversary with hostility only means you will either be bullied or die. Time to spank a bully!

Andy we are in agreement. China is powerful yes, but not stupid. They will not let little tiny N.Korea be the end of them. Like I said, China can't beat the US, Europe, Canada, Austrailia, Israel etc...our faction is the strongest.

You cannot win a war allowing politicians to draw a line you cannot cross! Had we fought N Korea with the resolve we did in WWII it would have been over and China would have been bitchslapped back into place, and Mao Tse Tung would have languished in prison.

Peace for the sake of peace is SUICIDE! My fear of Desert Shield was that we would fall short of Baghdad which we did. 12 years later we were back.

N Korea needs to be taken on, taken out, and absorbed back into S Korea as a unified Korea. This last vestige of the cold war needs to end! Russia cannot nor will not do anything about it and China is too busy playing their games to set them down and tell them to either play nice or get spanked!

Yeah so what N Korea fought. Had we crossed the DMZ they would have fought to death or until they fled into China. Instead we gave them a place to hide, mass up, and come back at us. They had more losses than us. Time to show them what a real war is like!

My friend I am convinced you don't know what you are saying. In the first desert storm the Iraqis fought until they couldn't. Anywyas, N.Korea can fight back all they want. They are literally 20 years behind when it comes to combat technology. I mean really....My advice to you is to do some research on the military powers of this world and how they conduct themselves. And as far as North korea " proving" they will fight.....they had china with them last time. This time it apeears that China will not help them. For China it would be political suicide.
