Most of us have gotten mail with our names spelled wrong...generally it is an innocent mistake like leaving a letter off or an "s" instead of an "a". But what I got in the mail today has me a little confused....it was made out to "EILUN GRICO"....neither name is right...or I have a ghost living in my house!!!!

Who can it be knocking at my door............go away don't come round here no more............LMAO.......whitmyer.....widenmayer.......whitemyer...........my last name is notoriously misspelled.......I just put return to sender no such person.....

These labels are so cute though and I am writing out my Christmas cards so I was so excited when I saw them, but now I am sitting here using a white-out pen to take that name off them.

It's even funnier when someone calls me and can't pronounce my name and I get called "Irene...Elaine...Erin...." I tell them "Nope..she don't live here, got the wrong number..."

Mine's Friesen and sounds like Freezin...So I get Fresian, Frosen, Freesen, Friiessen, and multiple useless vowels that aren't necessary. Seriously considering just changing it to Freezin.

My last name spelled differently is slang for a mangy dog.

The ones I despize are from the damned spell check programs....constanly asking if I actually meant to say : Crap, Crappier, or crappiest.......

My absolute number one pet peeve is when people say Susan...there is freakin -anne at the end of my name...

Everybody says my last name wrong at least the first few times sayin it but that doesnt bother me so much...but people try to call me Susan, Susanna, or totally leave out the z altogether and say Sueann..

When I was in elementary school I used to go by my middle name Marie because nobody could say either name right...much less spell it. My last name is french and is pronounced Menu-a...but spelled Menuet..Most of the time people change the u to a v for some reason..or spell it Menoot...wtf?

I go by my middle name but sometimes have to use my first initial which has resulted in me getting mail addressed to Malice, I know some people with crazy names but who in the world would name their brand new baby girl Malice??? My maiden name is SanFellipo, had years of mess ups with that one!!

When they call me "James" (my wasband's name).

I will say my last name, and then spell it to them (It's only four friggin letters) and they will still spell it wrong!

I get chealsea, chelsey, chealsey, kelsey, chelsie... My last name is French so they always screw that up too. Now its got to the point where I have to spell both my first and last name.

Both of my names are pretty common. First being Melissa. But i get it spelled, Mellisa, Mellissa, Even Mallissa and Mallisa.

My last name has a soft 'C' in is and does get changed to an 'S' more often then not.

I can understand and handle mis-spelling of Robin, i or y or whatever, but when I get Guptha Orjamsqua I really wonder who is in charge of the sending out of mail, humans or chimps?
