"Must" lists are good if you are here to find someone to date. They allow you to eliminate a lot of folks you might otherwise spend a great deal of time emailing with before you find out what they are really like. 
So I have to joke about it

People make up must rules to avoid what has hurt them in the past! I think they fixate on types too much, but it is much harder to love someone for what they are than what they seem to be or could be. I had all these crazy ideas of what my mate needed to be like when I got started here & then realized I was just looking for my ex so I re-connected and well...here we go again so I don't have to worry about what anyone else "must have"! Good Luck being that something perfect guys

Does it ever get to you when reading a profile and they have a MUST list  I say get out of your comfort zone and live a little
Nope, it doesn't bother me. If I don't fit their list, I move on. Why should people have to settle for what they don't want just to get out of their comfort zone? |

like as in what kind of must list,i'm sure they must have a pulse would be a recommended must to most Your so silly Riskit! You know some people prefer they dont have a pulse----just sayin! |

i don't let it bother me, i just add them to the no column, they failed in my 'must have an open mind' list.

As I think about it....I would bet money that if I put up a must list of the traits of my ex's...I would be hooked up (and forbidden to come back here) within a week.
Must be at least fair looking. Must gripe ALOT! Must have experience cheating/fooling around or garauntee that you will dump me for someone who will treat you like meat. Must expect me to completely break all contact with my friends and Want me to be happy that all of my social contact will be you or your freakshow family. Must make plans with all of my money and time off but, you cant let me know about it till the last minute. I really think that this could work! |

Hate to say it but, you struck out on my "Must" list......"#273: Must happily show boobies on demand" You had your chance darlin...but noooooooooooooooooo I guess this forever dooms us to friendship.  Krupa that showing the boobie on demand seems to knock me out many times guess it goes along with the 68 as well....

There are times I wonder about it -- like, when they say "looking for someone 25-27" or something. So, someone could be a total match but be 24 or 28 and they're out of the running. On the other hand, I have a "must list" of my own, so I can't be too judgmental about other people's. |

Ima gonna hafta cast my lot with krupa on some of this. and bastet too, as I also get a little nervous about must lists - read: inflexible, demanding, fussy
but some of the stuff - like camping.  camping is usually on the men's lists: must love camping & the outdoors? why? when there's a perfectly comfortable bed indoors. with the money spent on all of that equipment, gasoline and site fees, you could afford the Hilton in Palm Beach for a month. So while Mr "I love Camping" in lugging equipment and gassing up the RV, I'll be poolside....see ya dude!
camping to me is on the scale with picnics and croutons as the least necessary items in life 
1. who wants seasoned stale bread? 2. Why drag everything outside and watch ants crawling in the potato salad while napkins blow around the yard? I just don't get it - guess I better pack up & head back to planet romulan
