i usually dont do the picking up-- but one i like to hear is, What's your name, and then something along the lines of there arent that many cool women in here, so i was finally glad to see you sitting over here. (sounds lame but it feels good to be appreciated on a higher standard)

I was sitting at the bar at Applebees ended up being a great conversation.......

Honestly I hate pick up lines I prefer that someone just start a conversation. If they are worth talking to and can hold a conversation then there will not be a problem...The ticket is can they carry on a conversation beyond just hello how are ya???

BL 28 your trying to hard Natural is the way to go. You see someone of interest watch them for a while then focus... start a conversation on what you've observed. Now your having a conversation in real time and it started with something personal not some stupid pick up line. The worst that could happen is the conversation won't last long but you still walk away with your dignity and could safely say hi to her the next time you see her.
