Everyone has very valid points, especially Krupa, save the remark that was edited. However a global economy must be weighed heavily against the immediate well being of a soveirgn nation. What I heard sounded like little Bush kick *** philosophy. It's great for Rocky movies, but lacks foresight. It would be easy to get all tough love, but would it do us any favors in the long run?

I will say this however, VOTE INDEPENDANT! Independanants don't get the media airtime or recognition they deserve simply because they don't get enough votes to make them viable. You can also avoid almost any political argument by replying whhen somebody asks you if you are a Rep. or Dem. by simply saying," Independant. While I did vote for Obama, I don't think Kerry deserved my vote. Gore was okay, but he was no Perot. Peace.

The interests of the 2 countries are so closely aligned, I sometimes think you ought to be able to vote in our elections.

Most people in this country think there's only two choice in any election.

Most people in this country think there's only two choice in any election. That is true but that is only because the majority of the people don't know what being open minded is. there is always two sides to every story but there is also always a middle ground.
