Geeez T....
I'm so sorry....how awful for you to have to go through last night alone....do you have a Dr appointment for today?...I am amazed they let you go home to spontaneously have to manage this...perhaps back to the Dr's...I am completely surprised you weren't booked into hospital for precautionary measures and a D & C... |

Only 6 weeks LMP, on Thursday, when I initally went in to the ER. There wasn't anything on the ultrasound, so either too small or already passed. Typical to send women home is no heavy bleeding and major pain. I am spotting pink and having off and on light cramps. I go tomorrow to have my beta check again.... they will draw blood until my beta hcg goes down to zero. I think if I was further along or had shown something on the ultrasound, they would have scheduled a D&C. |

FINALLY! I finally got someone on the phone that makes some sense on the phone! One of the OB Drs at the hospital stated that just having my levels checked down isn't how things are normally done. She scheduled me to come in and have an exam. Besides the ER nurse at the other hospital, this is the second medical person which I felt has treated me like a human!
So, I go in today and have a pelvic exam and have blood drawn. |

Definately better care. I was her only patient today. She stated that protocol wasn't being followed. She came over specifically to see me.

I know we have never talked(which is a shame, you seem like an awesome chica) but this is heartbreaking none the less. Not much makes me cry, but this brought a tear to my eye. I hate seeing others hurt like this. I know you don't know me really well, but if you need someone to talk to I am a good listener.
I am sorry you had to deal with it alone, maybe this was a warning sigh of things to come with this person in the future? They say everything happens for a reason, maybe the reason for this was to show you the other side of him. I also know what it's like and how your treated at the hospitals. They either treat you like your a hypochondriac or someone just looking for pain medication. When I was in the hospital about a week and a half ago for a few days I was treated the same way. I was in my hospital room balling because of the pain I was in. The whole side of my face was swollen and it turned out to be shingles (right above my eye, that went into the eye itself, ended up catching Infectigo(from the emergency room when they drained one of them for a sample) and ended up with Pneumonia on top of that. I've been admitted 8 times, for over a week each time this past year for Pneumonia. They also thought I had Meningitis at one point too and let me tell you the spinal tap sucks as well as the follow up blood patch. If you guys have never had Shingles before in your life thank god. It is the most painful thing I have EVER dealt with, even worse when it got into the eye. It felt like someone was holding my face up to a fire(literally) and the Infectigo made it worse. They had me on Mg Dilaudid every two hours(IV), 6 MG of morphine every 4 hours(IV), 20 mg of Oxycodone every four hours(Pill form), Neurontin three times a day(Pill Form), Xanax Mg(every few hours), Zanaflex Mg(Pill Form) and Ambien nightly Mg(Pill). The pain medication helped, not a lot but it took the edge off as long as they keep the pattern of every two hours for the Dilaudid, and Morphine and Oxycodone. One night I was due for the Dilaudid and not only by keeping track of the time you can tell because they pain gets worse and worse. The nurses would automatically bring all the different pain medications when they were do without me having to call because they knew and saw the pain I was in. Well, I was due for the Dilaudid as it had been two hours, after two and a half hours I page the nurse and the CNA came in and said shed let the nurse know. the third hour passed and nothing. I paged the nurse 5 times and was treated like crap each time by the CNA who just responded and turned the call light off. By the 3rd hour I was in hysterics it hurt so bad. I was balling. Then my dad called and I told him what was going on, he could barely understand me because I was crying so bad. he came down to the hospital immediately and tore ***. After that it was still another half hour or so before the nurse came in with the medication. It was over 4 hours later. Because it had been so long the pain medication didn't touch it. They had to page the on call hospitalist who came in and saw me, and he was furious to say the least. Finally he had them give me something that pretty much put me out, I don't remember what it was but they had to put me on oxygen, hook me up to a blood pressure cuff and pulse oxygen thing and the heart monitor. I think it was Versed. So long story short I understand your frustration with how medical people treat you and ignore you and it's criminal, especially with what you are dealing with. |

Prayers please. After going into the clinic today and the vaginal exam, I started cramping. I am bleeding again and having cramps that feel like contractions. Nothing to the level of going into the hospital, but I don't want it to get to that point.
