This can be on a site like this, or out in the real world.
Men, do you prefer to make the first move, or are you fine with a woman doing so? Why? Women, do you prefer to wait for a man to make the first move, or will you take a chance? Why? Just to clarify, making the first move could be an email on here, or going up to someone in person and starting a conversation. Or asking for a phone number or even a date (here or in person). |

I like to hunt down the guy Im interested in and then hang around and let him make the 1st move

Does that usually get the hint across so you get what you want?

I am done making the first move. Every time I do, the other person "expects" that I am desperate for sack time on the first date. I deserve better than that attitude. Yes, I know not every guy does that, but I think me being forward and taking the lead is the incentive for this attitude, so I quit making the first move.

I never make the first move. The whole concept eludes me.

Yeah, that happens sometimes, but not all the time for me. I got tired of playing the waiting game. If I'm interested in getting to know someone, I'll let them know. |

I don't mind making the first move but am always happy having her make the first move. It doesn't matter if you are male or female, if you see someone you are interested in then go for it.

He chases me and chases me.
Until I finally catch him. So. I wait for them :-) |

Rubbin' their butt when y' say 'hello' at that 'first cup of coffee' meeting generally sets a tone for the rest of the relationship ...
And how's that working for you?
what do you do when neither of them happen? 0.0

And how's that working for you? I'm not a 'rub 'n tell' kinda guy ... try it yourself and see. |

I'm not one to waste an opportunity. If I like someone, I tell them. The worst that can happen is they aren't interested and you move on.
