Why would a person tell you to call them and then start to fall asleep and hear only every other word? Ever had this happen to you/done it to someone else?

There was one time I was in a conference call with my best friend and a potential boyfriend and my friend fell asleep. The next day she said it was because the guy was so (expletive) boring she couldn't stay awake any longer.

If someone tells me to call them, I try to call immediately or at least within 10 minutes. So if they say to call them, that to me says they are up for a chat... |
