If you are a hispanic living in Arizona and support this law are you a racist also? The majority of hispanics living in Arizona do support this law.

They don't realize what they are supporting...lol

Oh really. This isn't a racist/profiling remark? Saying basically we are not smart enough to know. But you do?

Why won't anybody answer my earlier question?

Is getting stopped and searched because of long hair and beard (multiple times) profiling?

YES, it is profiling, just not racial.

I concurflowerforyou

Again long hair and clothes can be changed. Race is not something that can be changed to stop the difficulties of racists.

So, now you're saying that we have to dress and keep cut like the police want us to?

That's a form of racial profiling.

But why she he have to. That is something that is inheritingly his. It defines him as unique. People of color wouldn't become caucasian to fit the mold and avoid discrimination so why should he?

It is what it is.

I cannot support racial injustice no matter what.

How would you deal with the millions of illegal people that are here and f**king up our country.

Not by being racially unjust that is for sure.

As to what I think we need to do is secure our borders which should have been done the day after 9/11 in full force.

Stop all employers from employing illegals as we determine who to make a citizen and who to deport.

the question is not what people SHOULD have to do here,, should you have to wear a tie to work,, no, but in certain companies it is the image they PREFER you to have. It is more about what people CAN do.

Clothes, hairstyles and the likes are choices people have, race is not.

Why should a Hispanic person have to have you talk about them as if they are dirt because you believe they are illegal?

Why should a black person be identified as a thief in the store when they have never stole anything in their lives?

Etc...and so on.

But at least he can make his life easier, the non whites cannot.

In a nutshell, that is SB 1070 It re-enforces federal law.

All the racial crap is nothing more than propaganda from both sides.

Did you read this thread?

Because I do not want to have to do this all again.

Yes it is racially profiling and we have already determined so a few pages back.

It is not the same as the federal law and it is racially unjust.

Again,

I am saying that they do not realize what white racists can do to them until they are let lose on them.

Right now white racists are controlled some by the laws.

shocked What? Where was it determined it IS racial profiling? Are you talking about what it says in the bill again. I agreed that you were right in the content of the "suspicion of an alien" being in the bill. I did not AGREE that it is considered racial profiling. huh frustrated

"They do not realize" = Illiterate; "what white racists can do to them" = Weak.

Nice. You pretty much shot them down as illiterate and weak in one post. You spin words more than a DJ spins records, so, much like your conservative counter-parts I have no doubt you will come back and explain this one off as well. And a lot like the conservative counter-parts, it won't make a whole lot of sense either.

Actually not.

This thread is a demonstration of human perception at it's worst and the many attempts to show a larger perception.

Not happening by the way.

The Arizona law is promoting racial profiling and it should struck down.

I can only hope that it will so I can still be proud of the leaps and tiny steps this country has made to racial equality.

As we can tell there is much more work to be done.

Yes the Perception you are showing is your worse. For you have put down everyone in the state of AZ for ignorance of their own law and what it will do to us.
