The United States found itself in the midst of a revolution. It begins
as some internal strife, let's say, a previous governing body, left us in a deep financial crisis. That the immigration factor has gotten the better of us, and that globalization has pounded us into, basically, a two class system. Further ponder a strange scene, Mexico from one end, Canada from the other, watching, infiltrating the ranks of the poor, for the purpose of espionage, feeding the masses the fire to REVOLT against our government. The government is consumed by this revolt, unable to maintain their status in world order. Canada sees a mark, Mexico sees a mark, and one day our borders become terror zones, police states, bombing fields. WHO IN THIS WORLD WOULD STEP IN? WHO'S SIDE WOULD THEY BE ON? WHY? And the inevitable question, WHO WOULD OFFER AID TO THE AMERICANS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE? Come on, let's play with it - a game of on-line risk - what do you think? |

The Brits, maybe.
Here is a thought there are a lot of Foreign interest in us to see us say they way we are. Maybe Japan?????? |

Here's the thing. Why would anyone want to HELP us? Remember, we've
taken a long hard dive. There are picketers blocking the docks, they don't want foreign goods going out of or entering the country, feeding the greed machine call the government. There are all manner of groups with weapons - and man, you know Americans, we have weapons, picketing, rioting, bringing day to day business to a halt. Some are hunting those who they blame most - anyone who looks or sounds Mexican. The rich are leaving for more peaceful ground - you know all those who own business "out of country" or "off Shore". They want to protect their interests, and the large estates they own here make them targets. So they and their families leave the estates to the help to guard, with their lives, with promises of payment and safety. We all know the loss of an estate is not part of their interest, the real interest was taken out of the US. The powerful are not dumb, they saw what was coming. We are a broken country. A state of martial law exists everywhere, but hardly maintained. Many soldiers, maybe soldiers like the ones we know here, are turning their weapons for use against the government. With all the chaos most people don't even know what they're fighting for, except for their lives, for food, for their families safety. A broken country, without an army of pride, without an army of numbers, without anything as important as OIL. WHY WOULD ANYONE HELP US? And if they did, would they settle the country and allow it to begin a new democracy? WHY? Look at all the remarks about how America acts, what America does, Where America goes, Who America fights - why would any country want us to return to what we were? |

Red a more likely scenario would be a coup.
What do you think people, in this country or around the world would do if there was an attempted take over of the government. Not the shadey take over that is corporate america but an all out eliminate people, suspend the constitution, disband congress kinda take over. |

What if we discovered that Bozo the clown was really a well entrenched
spy for the Soviets, who only feigned dissolving of the Soviet bloc and in reality are crossing our border disguised as illegal immigrants with bab bowel issues? Hey........ it could happen. |

|
|
I never did like clowns.

Zap, don't take it all so seriously, no one is attacking Bozo!
AB - a coup indeed, only not from big business, but from the the vast majority of the populous. The really Big Businesses, don't need America, they just happen to find a lot of breaks here. They would leave. Those who have become the lower class for whom minimum wage means nothing, when there is no job available. You see, in my version, there is so much diversion, so much happening on all fronts, that the coup, the take over is slow and is devastating to both sides. Not unlike the civil war, just much more division in the population. Imagine, the huge number of mexican immigrants, suddenly faced with fighting us, with us, or with their former countrymen and family? They would definately be a faction totally under suspicion by all. This and the possible demise of this government would likely encourage them to fight for Mexico, against the coup regime. Interesting thinking about this, don't you think? I really would like to hear from some non-Americans on this topic too. I'd like to know what they would do, if and how THEY would solicit their governments to send aid? They seem to have a lot of opinions on how we are acting in this regard. |

If there's a coup, I'd like to see it happen here in Canada too. Time to
clean house here also. |

What's up with Canada Kid? Not too familiar with the politics or the
politicians there. Fill me in, might make a difference with our game of risk here. Out for tonight though - see you all later. |

WHO IN THIS WORLD WOULD STEP IN? i would, a texan
WHO'S SIDE WOULD THEY BE ON? the side of americans from texas WHY? because i believe in the land of the people by the people of texas (democrats arent people, satan incarnate) And the inevitable question, WHO WOULD OFFER AID TO THE AMERICANS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE? here is a novel idea- how about the americans who arent caught in the middle i dont know say like from texas - just a thought, my question would be, why the hell would we want the help of any of those other knuckleheads? everybody wants a shot at the title but no one wants to put in the road work. when some wackos decide that it is time for americans to be brought down, they better receive a hand written letter from whatever god they pray to for help and mercy and the intelligence to not start their little coup in texas. and there it is, once again, the liberals little yankee wussies will cry and the men and women of the south will man up and ride in to save the new york cant do anything for themself types from the swarms of 'icky ouchies' boo boo's, here take it im scared. d |

Ok, to anyone else who might post, look at what Doc wrote. This is the
amazing kind of attitude that Americans have. It is powerful stuff and makes for strong attitudes and . This is exactly the attitude that will be at work, in all those groups fighting internally, forging ahead for what they want, what they need. A bunch of little armies with bull headed and big hearted effort forging on, with little leadership capable of much more that creating more havoc. This is the scene of America's demise. Only one group, internally, struggles to take over and return the democracy, but of course it's the way THEY see it should be. Again, the internal struggle has broken the nation, and we are basically at war with Canada and Mexico. Come on all you foreign lands, I need food, my kids are sick. There is no money for heat and winter is upon us. There are those who pillage and rape and take our young teenagers to fight their battles. Help us! |

No help from anywhere!
Well, tell me all, is it that 1. No one really believes that America can ever be in this situation? 2. No one would care to be involved or to send assistance? 3. America offers so little to the world that no one cares who wins and takes over the country? 4. No one from foreign countries has clue one on how they would even begin to get their government to send aid? Or is it that no one wants to play a game where the Americans are not the bad guys? |

Better question would be, is who is going to help them.
Both together couldnt do it. Mexico would be the bigger threat of the two. Canada's population is only 35-40 million while NYC alone is 25 million, and Mexico is too back woods to pose a threat to us even if we were in the middle of a full blown civil war!!! Scenario over, before it even starts!!! |

wow red kinda ouch, but its cool i know ive been more than militant
lately (i have my poor reasons) ok but to give you a thought i remember reading my history talking about the same kind of things you were talking about, it was prior to the revolutionary war... little groups having their own idewas about how things could be and should be done, each having their positions with the 'enemy'... amazingly they came together mutually forging a country out of the kaos. is it to much to think that we do not have it in us to do something similar if the situation were to happen again. by happen again i mean us having no government. as far as having a bunch of groups fighting internally with their own agenda's, the only agenda im fighting for is the one that people seem to think is soooo wrong, you know truth justice and the american way, equality for all that kind of stuff no one believes in anymore. but anyway, im sure we will all be killing each other then the cubans will just float into miami and take over the US. doc |
|

There's already more Cubans in Miami than there are in Cuba.

maybe the coup has already happened...many think it has...

Is there no foresight in this group, no imagination? We stand at the
edge of tomorrow and all you see is today. The government is corrupt, the laws are more than a tangled weave of red tape and president. Big business thrives, but only a few are reaping the rewards. The courts do not dole out equal punishment, the judges are puppets, trials delayed and lawyers fill their pocket with each delay. Politicians are upper class business heirs and taxes are a drop of rain that don't even feed the weed that is our deficit. There are groups who gather for causes, and groups whose causes include violence and hate. And who knows, how much of our population, in five years, will be proud Americans of the enth generation and how many will be the first generation, unaware of what is happening in government, unconcerned because, after all , it's America, it will go on. Will it? Globalization, how many jobs will be farmed out, how many here will suffer those losses, on top of the loss of jobs to those who are first generation "new Americans", and then the Federal Reserve System, there are those who would see it come to an end, but what dire affects might we face to make a switch and how many employees of the FRS will be without jobs. Is it really so hard to see a country, this country so caught up in it's own turmoils that it can no longer function as a single unit? I gave Canada and Mexico as examples because they are border countries, but what of other countries? Who might jump at the chance to make the already terminally ill U.S. thier conquest? All I want to know, is who would help America? Who would fight and die for America to exist, who would, at the very least, be indignant to discover that their government is standing by, watching the atrocities, the seeming genocide of a nation. And what would they do about it? But since this could never happen, since America will break every historical record and continue forever, then it is not a good game. Sorry, perhaps, my cynicism got te beter of me, in a moment of passionate unrest. |

Americans will fight for America!!!
Even if it means fighting our government or the dumbasses like I saw in another thread. America has no enemy that could pose an iminient threat to our existence. They might kick us out of Europe, militarily, but that would, in my opinion be a blessing in dequise. To come here and fight us on our soil would be impossible, bordering on insane. Because we have the ability of self-substantion, (excepet oil) we really dont need the rest of the world to survive. Who do you suppose, would stand a chance? Canada=NOT, Mexico=not, So who? Then I'll imagine!!!!!! |

Knox, why the comment about the Cubans in Florida? Most of them like it
here but many would rather be back in Cuba were it not for the poverty and fear created by Castro. I thought the liberals saw Cuba and Cubans as their buddies. |
