Obviously some people can't see racist intention when it is presented in a law if they read it. Actually, the case is that you see "racist intention" when it doesn't exist. Oh but it does. Obviously some people cannot see the obvious. It's only obvious for someone who is looking for it. The only thing you ever spout off about is racist this racist that. Maybe it is you who has the real problem with racism. |

racism is real, racist people are real and racist use of authority also is real,,,, but it is a task to seperate genuine actions from racist ones unfortunately , ALOT of those individuals have positions of power and authority Yup, the most Senior Democrat in Washington, Senator Byrd the former Klan leader himself. |

They usually accuse me of being one sided and unfair. But I am doing the world a big favor because the greatest enemy of racism is to have it shown for what it is in the light of day, every day. |

I think it's great policy for the government to sue on behalf of people that are breaking their own laws..
Now maybe they will sue fisherman from Louisiana for BP taking risks that the government just happened to overlook and incentivised.. |

Government should always sue on human rights issues regardless to which human it is.

then they should be suing themselves because it's their law that is being broken. You right. They all swore to protect this country and its interests. They are protecting the interests of Big Business and Mexico. |

They are protecting the interests of Big Business and Mexico. I really don't think they give a rats *** about mexico or the people coming here. They want power for themselves and cheap labor for the campaign donors. Its actually pretty sick and those people that support this ought to be ashamed of themselves.. |

Considering that non racist immigration laws are there to protect the illegal immigrant from being misused in this country. Supporting non racist or non civil right violating immigration laws is the way to go.
A person cannot rightfully support laws that violate civil rights for humans though. So I support our federal immigration laws and wish they would have enforced them for all these years. |

Considering that racists want everyone to believe that racism doesn't exist, it makes it pretty hard to believe them. The reason the bill promotes racism is that it states that an illegal alien can be identified on sight. "suspicion of being illegal" How do you identify an illegal alien on sight? Can it be done without being biased or prejudice to one type of people? That is racism or prejudice or discrimination, whatever you want to call it, it is illegal and wrong. In Az., as with all other states that have enacted tough stances on Illegals, any Illegal from any country will face deportation. The laws don't specify just Mexicans. It's only the Illegal Mexicans and those who support them who are whining about it. So if the law states you can stop a person based on the "suspicion of them being illegal" on sight. How do you do that since some illegals are white and some are black? How can you suspect an illegal is an illegal on sight? As always, your utter ignorance of the actual LAW is astounding. The law clearly states that there HAS to be some other reason or unlawful act BEFORE the person can be asked about immigration status. The fact that you continually ignore that particular part of the law simply because it doesn't fit your " it's all racist!!! You are all racist!!! " argument doesn't change the FACT that the law is FAR more harshly written to KEEP THE POLICE from profiling. |

"Obama is just digging a hole deeper and deeper.Every poll they have taken on this issue the people agree with Arizona's law. This lawsuit is with out a doubt one of the dumbest things our Government has ever done.I don't know what kind of country we are living in when the Feds are telling states that they can not protect their own borders. "
^^ This portion of Thomas' issue rings true in that they gov't is begging for help while this policy is designed to do just that - so the gov't thwarts the help it is handed - no more insane than anything else they have done |

The feds are going to lose because this law parallels federal law, also for all of you who do not know there was a case 35 years ago in which the U.S. Supreme Court said that states CAN create immigration laws as long as they do not overpower federal law which this does not. So stick that in y'alls crack pipe. |

I guess it all boils down to this: Whatever you disagree with is RAYciss! ... there's no logic, comprehension, fact, proof, or anything of substance to back up ANYthing you say. - |

It is racist to target one group of people, making arizona law promoting racism. I know in Mexico you can get medical care no matter where you are from for free. |

B. FOR ANY LAWFUL CONTACT MADE BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL OR AGENCY 21 OF THIS STATE OR A COUNTY, CITY, TOWN OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THIS 22 STATE WHERE "REASONABLE SUSPICION EXISTS THAT THE PERSON IS AN ALIEN" WHO IS 23 UNLAWFULLY PRESENT IN THE UNITED STATES, A REASONABLE ATTEMPT SHALL BE MADE, 24 WHEN PRACTICABLE, TO DETERMINE THE IMMIGRATION STATUS OF THE PERSON. THE 25 PERSON'S IMMIGRATION STATUS SHALL BE VERIFIED WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT 26 PURSUANT TO 8 UNITED STATES CODE SECTION 1373(c). How do you reasonably suspect a person of being an illegal alien without being racist? |

I'd suspect people in certain occupations regardless of race, who didn't speak the language and have no ssn, yet have been here for a lot of months or years. Ya, I'd also be wrong a lot of the time too prolly...whatever. |

Government should always sue on human rights issues regardless to which human it is. then they should be suing themselves because it's their law that is being broken. In a way they are suing themselves, right? Human rights should always be fought for. No human has the right to violate another human's property. True reform would privatize all land so landowners can keep illegal aliens out without help from the government. |
