I would really like to know who did research and what they think will happen currently and in the future.

Haha. Valiant effort to beat away political threads with a large stick.

I was SHOCKED ... I say SHOCKED to hear that BP wasn't going to listen to (of all people!) ... James ('The Abyss' / 'Titanic') CAMERON ... ! Why, he had SO much experience in matters like this ... Sure, he's just a bleepin' filmmaker, but HEY!, he knows special FX ... he coulda made it look like they really DID have everything under control ... Meanwhile, they also ignore Kevin Costner - which is kinda ironic, 'cuz he actually had something he bought from the Army a while back and has put $26MM into developing, and it looks like it really works in real-life ... Go figure ... this is a lot like the old 'cliffhangers' they'd show in the movies 'back in the day' ... Will Commando Cody get out of this predicament and defeat the bad guys ... ? Stay tuned for next week's answer ...

laugh and I for one was SHOCKED to hear the govt ppl say that they never had the expertise nor the equipment to deal with it. I figured a bureacrat or a politician would surely be an authority on oil well blowouts. Congress will simply either pass a bill making it illegal or fill the gulf with money to stop it...and the president will sign itfrustrated

Another man made mess on this beautiful planet we live on. Like all the other ones before it, it will resolve after years of cleanup. Hopefully man is really trying to stop his dependence on oil so we can eventually stop having this problem.

Love it!! After all the times O'buma and his czars let BP slide on safety, the rig explodes and now, they turn their backs on 'em. No more bribe money for them.

Wonder how many have stock in BP???
