A dear friend of ours, some know him as Terry, some know him as "iam4u" dedicated this poem to the love that Sox and I share for each other since finding each other right here on this very site. I am in Colorado (though not for much longer) and Sox lives in Utah. I am, in 8 days leaving Denver once again to go visit and stay with her in Moab. After I return to Colorado, I will be making the final preparations to leave Denver for good, and move to Moab to be with the love of my life "Sox" permanently. We found love again, and we're so happy now and together and it's gonna be a blessed and wonderful life together, her and I.
 His sweet poem follows:
"We've talked and talked about that day, When you and I both can truly say, Your eyes are so beautiful to really see. When they're so bright staring back at me. This day has been dreamed, and planned, Now here before us, we both stand. Just to know I can reach out and touch you. On this day, our dreams now, have come true. You're everything I have wanted to hold. A kiss, a hug, a heart, now here, no-longer cold. Our meeting time, to know we are real with our heart. Showing each other we can have this beautiful new start. Lets SHOUT, and show the world how much we care THIS IS OUR DAY TO BREATHE THE SAME AIR!! Lets hold hands, kiss and embrace, walk beside a stream. Feeling each others smile, and holding each others dream. This day belongs to you and me, and for us to love so free. Hold me close, never let me go, this is our love to know. And to think we were just words on a screen, with two names to see. RedSoxfan1, and CatsLoveMe... DEDICATED TO TWO OF OUR FRIENDS ON HERE RED,,,,and, CATS!!!!! " Thanks again Terr, and all of our Mingle friends who are happy for us and bless us with their love.

Although not high on the list of priorities, everything is balance, and that includes dating. 
To keep a healthy outlook we manage to find ways for entertainment; dating is just a form of entertainment. The best part is – dating means sharing costs (hopefully). 
Sharing costs?  I always take care of my dates and all the costs. It is only the right thing to do!

I avoid stress, when I can. Which, btw...is the reason I'm not dating atm. 
Whoever said men don't have drama...seriously needs to take a peek into my life.

I sound like a horrible person for saying this... But It made me laugh, honestly. They're engaged now, even after I told her.

Funny I do not see it is any different meeting others today then it was 5 years ago. Still the same way I don't really see that the economy has done that much damage to the point one can not still find places to go and do...........Just have to look for those places and at times save a little longer to go do them....

why not take a prospective date out for breakfast? we all have to eat and breakfast venues usually aren't fancy and/or expensive. i'm sure $20 could get you by, even if it's not a shared date. Now thats an idea. I have to confess, I haven't dated in almost 10 years. So I need to play catch up. Though I was thinking a bike ride along river. This could lead to more questions but I'll stop here. |

When I moved back to Maryland not long ago, I got involved with a group who does volunteer work. We volunteered at the Special Olympics and while getting ready for that and volunteering, I met lots of new people. Find something you enjoy doing. You'll meet people who are like you that way.
