cougar: Hot and sexy older woman, usually in her 40s or 50s, single or married, who is sick of her same-age counterparts which are usually hairless, have big guts, who only talk about their insurance premiums and have the TV remote control attached to their hands. Cougars are attractive, in their sexual prime, who know what they want and aren't afraid to go after it. BIG misconception is that they dress cheap, wear hot pink nail polish, animal skin prints and are not-so-attractive old-looking hags with bleached hair (Yeah those women exist, but they are NOT cougars). True cougars are classy, beautiful creatures who have made their successes on their own, have real brains, usually with expensive cars/homes, and are real head turners. Cougars seek younger men, and don't have to sneak up and attack...they know their younger mates are eager to get an experienced woman who won't ask if they'll call them the next day. Being a cougar is a positive thing. Sorry...had to do it! AMEN, SISTA~! That about sums up my dating experiences! LMAO! Now I don't quite agree on this part. And I think it's why men my age get their boxers in a bunch because I do date younger guys. But notice I said DATE, not BED. I am not into being with younger guys just for sex. I'm not saying that isn't good, but I just RELATE with their mindset better. It's not so much the remote, or the ins policies .. it's the "time to retire .. eat some worms and die" mentality I have FUN .. hear it, F U N .. with younger guys. And I am attracted to their "look" but again it's not JUST sexual attraction. Honestly I HATE it when a guy refers to me as a cougar. Or a jaguar (women in their 50's .. yep =) It's offensive. I hate being in a 'category'. I'm ME. Period. And as in the other thread, cougars are lone cats .. so it's suggesting the only reason we are is to hop in bed for a 'teaching' experience for a young guy. No thanks. I'm better than that.

And ya .. I speak from experience. Have dated only younger guys for about 7 years. Actually was in a relationship with one who was 27 years younger than me, for 3 years. We were best friends. Now ... I DO know a lot of younger guys who just want the experience, but some actually ENJOY being in a RELATIONSHIP with an older women. Not just for a good lay. Just sayin ..

I think younger men dating older ladies, can be a great "learning experience. Seems that many of the young men missed being taught many of the "social graces". I believe that older ladies tend to enforce proper conduct/manners more than the most. After talking to many ladies that date younger, I found this an interesting point in the equation. Does this mean younger ladies "settle/accept" how men act, rather than demanding more respect? Just a thought.

Usually the woman is 15-20 years older than the guy. And usually 30 and above .. cuz otherwise it's cradle-robbing. But I agree .. I personally take offense to the term. And real cougars are lone cats and only pair to mate. That's it. Great. Great analogy eh?
