I'm at work....I tinker around in this International Backpacker's Hostel....doing the gardens, doing the check out on early departures...general 'Auntie lee' to 80 or so, 20 something year olds from around the world..
I start at around 4 am and finish around 8 am ish.. and I was having a giggle at what I wear to work... today....a deep royal purple tie dyed slip..(yes the one our mum wore under a dress)...with a matching purple cardigan...and beautifully juxtaposed with standard issue Australian Army combat camouflage pants.. I added dreadlocks to my hair last November...and wrapped them in recycled sari silk in rainbow colours...they are now down to my waist...(extensions, and a heap of amazing coloured threads)... I'm barefoot... I listen to collaborative works of indigenous music from around the globe.. I'm a vegetarian... I drive a muralled van... I have chooks (hens) in my backyard... I do all that pay it forward, do gooodery stuff..youth counsellor, domestic violence counsellor, foster parent... I'm arty farty, always painting, drawing, sculpting, creating something... I think my style is ..'dressed in the Dark' post woodstock hippy... What's your style? |

Jess,
I wear suits all week at work. Heels, dresses, yuck! On the weekends, old levi's that fit like a glove and a t-shirt. <<<<<< my typical style. |
|
|
|
Sequined thong
Combat boots Dog collar that says" my name is Barky, I have had my shots. If you find me please call (325)698-****".....it's a tribute. Rubber chicken on a leash to drag around the park and to drag into the stores so I can argue that it is my seeing eye chicken. Otherwise it is silk slacks and a nice dress shirt. |

At work, slacks, dress boots, and a semi-dressy top. I like the Indian kurtas a lot.
At home working, jeans with holes or paint on them, older junkie t-shirt with paint and holes that I don't care if they get torn. Boots or the junkie grass stained tennis shoes. Home going out, either a flowy fun dress, or tighter jeans and nice top or t-shirt. And cowboy boots or sandles depending on weather. Or jean shorts. Whatever is comfortable and workable. |

My style hmmm
At work in the office, jeans and a T usually At work on the road seeing customers, dockers and a company shirt (thank god my customers don't respect coat and ties) At play usually skin tight jeans and a nice button down shirt. At home, jeans and a tee... or nothing |

Business attire and heels all week (except "jeans thursday") and pajamas all weekend.

I was a happy hippy in my early years, tie dyed everything, 2 and a half foot afro with HUGE bellbottom jeans. Happiest time of my life
For the next 20 years I wore Navy and Marine combat camouflage uniforms. For the next 18 years I wore everything from suits to combat camouflage uniforms with long and short hair working as a government contractor. Now it is bluejeans & a T-Shirt with a pocket in the morning and naked at night. Wow, that 58 years of my intensly complex life just sounded so simple. My style is pre-Woodstock hippy to post Woodstock crazy that flies by the seat of my pants and walks to the beat of a different drummer. Peace-love-dove |

Like to wear a shirt and tie with jeans for a smart yet casual look: And I wear a Tshirt during the winter as I get too hot: So to answer your question, I have my own style! |
