That is like saying there is no difference between volantary and involatary homicide my friend. Yes they are dead......but they are still not the same. I bet you couldn't convince the person that was dead that there is a difference |

Foolishness! Get a KJ and a matching Strong's then obey the Bible....seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you. Ask for wisedom and understanding. The study soundly with common sense!
There you are thunking again! PROVE ALL THINGS!!!! Excuse me but you just got through saying this: The Scriptures are not the Bible. the Bible was translated from the scriptures. Go to the Scriptures to see what is really what. man made error in the translations that must be checked out. If you will look in the KJ the words in Italics WERE ADDED FOR CLAIFICATION and not it the scriptures. The KJ and other Bibles are not the all end all. The scriptures are!!!!
Now you tell me to get a KJ and a matching Strong's then obey the Bible. Excuse me but I don't obey things written in a 2000 year old book just because you tell me to. Then you spout the "seek and you shall find, etc etc " ..not very original stuff that are worn out Biblical preacher phrases that have been over used and abused for centuries. Sorry but you aren't communicating on the same page or even in the same book. Peace and goodbye. |

That is like saying there is no difference between volantary and involatary homicide my friend. Yes they are dead......but they are still not the same. I will not waste further time. Yes there is a difference in killing with intent and killing by accident or in defense of your life. I do understand that. If you are careless you could kill someone on accident. That is a terrible tragedy, more horrible than I can imagine. If you have to kill someone in defense of your life that too is a tragedy. If you kill (murder) with intent out of hatred or ignorance that is also a tragedy. But all I said was that all my life, the Bible I grew up with and the ten commandments I grew up with taught THOU SHALT NOT KILL. Now it appears that religious people are nitpicking that commandment because they want to justify all of their bloody wars. I really don't care. What I do care is that if that part of the Bible is now WRONG OR MISTRANLATED, the question in my mind would be how many other things in today's bible are wrong or mistranslated. This does not instill confidence in the Bible for people like me who have doubts about it in the first place. In fact, it merely confirms my suspicions that all of these religious people are full of it. |

But all I said was that all my life, the Bible I grew up with and the ten commandments I grew up with taught THOU SHALT NOT KILL. Truly, if these scriptures were genuinely inspiried by a God he would have said what he meant, "THOU SHALT NOT MURDER WITHOUT MY PERMISSION" This is just another reason why the Bible is clearly a farce. This supposedly all-wise God keeps saying the dumbest things, even when giving his Ten Commandments he can't even word things clearly without ambiguity. This does not instill confidence in the Bible for people like me who have doubts about it in the first place. In fact, it merely confirms my suspicions that all of these religious people are full of it. Exactly, to question that the Bible is the word of God, would be to reject that it's the word of God, and that's the definition of a heathen. Therefore any sane person who has genuine concerns about the legitimacy of these writings could be "KILLED" in the name of God, for questioning HIS WORD. And that wouldn't be considered "Murder" because technically this is what God commanded his followers to do. In fact, this is precisely why Jesus was nailed to a pole. It was the mentality of this religion that got Jesus crucified. You'd think people could LEARN something from this horrible attrocity, but no, they just hold Jesus' dead body up as a weapon to prop up more of the same. It's truly the saddest religion that mankind has ever become involved with. We really need to get away from this stupid obscession with "sin" and "damnation" and move on to something more positive. There is nothing positive about a man being nailed to a pole to pay for the sins of pathetic unworthy people who supposedly don't even have the ability to be without sin! If we don't have the ability to be without sin, then GUESS WHAT? It can't be OUR FAULT that we are sinners! The whole religion is just a brainwashing trap that demands that all men are sinners without exception. It is truly utterly STUPID! It's an insult to humanity and to any creator that humanity might actualy have. It suggests that BOTH mankind and God are totally bumbling inept fools. Why anyone wants to support this religion is beyond me. |

The blood wars and the Crucades were not done by God's people. They were done in God's name but not by his command. The Mother Church is not of God. They made their own God and own gospel. They change God's laws and his Holy days and Sabbaths. This is the white horse who will ride at the end times.....anitchrist. They glorfy Mary who is dead and still in her grave. It is the protestant churches who follow her teachings are Christ will say "I never knew you" The true flock is small and keep the Sabbath and keep the commandments. They keep the Holy days and Sabbaths of God. It is they who the mother church will seek to kill again as before. They are not God's people. To know God's people look to the fruit of the Church the people, who will not war. and Keeping those things above. Who are you to pass judgement on who are God's people and who aren't? If the blood wars were done in God's name using the biblical scriptures to support them, then those people obviously believed that they were doing God's will. But you can't have honest people believingthat they are doing God's will when in fact they aren't. That would mean that innocent people who think they are doing the will of God are actually doing the work of Satan. The only way that your religion can work is if people who are not doing the will of god know that they are rejecting God's will. You can't have people innocently going against God. That's not going to work. That would be an untrustwrothy God. If you can't trust God to let you know when you're on the wrong track, then who can you trust? So this idea that people can do evil things whilst they are under the belief that they are doing the will of God just doesn't wash. How can you know that what you are doing is the will of God if that's the case? For all you know, you could be doing the work of Satan and just be fooled into thinking that you are doing the will of God. You're whole scenario just backfired in your own face. |

Wailing and gnashing of teeth? Don't tell me. You're one of those Christians who imagines themselves standing next to Jesus on judgement day laughing at all the poor souls who are being cast into hell whist you yell at them, "I told you so!" For someone who's out to 'save souls' you sure do give up easily. |

P.S. (Thou shalt not murder) not kill/murder.....murder is different than kill. exactly how do you murder someone without killing them .....not sure even God can pull that one off.....but it does pose an interesting question ....maybe it only applies to cats ...you can murder a cat and it will have 8 more lives, but that only works on TV also since it was Jesus mission to die... was Jesus murdered or was he killed ....or did he use the incident to help him commit suicide and martydom if Adam and Eve did not know about good and evil and killed someone would it be murder or would it become murder only after they took from the fruit....either way you look at it they killed this also prose another interesting question...if Adam and Eve were in the garden unknowingly committing evil because they lack the knowledge of good and evil wouldn't that mean they were already sinners and condemn to go to Hell before they took from the fruit murder is to kill as apple is to fruit example,, If I murder I have killed AND If I eat an apple I have eaten fruit BUT it does not follow that If I kill, I have murdered, and if I eat fruit I have eaten an apple once again a bad analogy....where in The Ten Commandments does God states "Thou Shalt Not Eat Fruit" if there were such a commandment then we would have to debate whether it's a sin to eat a tomato since some classify the tomato as being a fruit and others classify the tomato as being a vegetable This is why God said "Thou Shalt Not Kill" ..which means do not intentionly take a life...to knowingly try and find ways to circumvent around his commands ..is the prelude to disobedience my analogy did not mention the ten commandments,,,so it was sound The commandment is to not MURDER, which is but one type of killing MsHarmony...you were either responding to my post about The Ten Commandments or you were rambling delusionally off the immediate line of discussion, but either way it only displays why your analogy was bad ... the bible does not state "Thou Shalt Not Murder" ..it states "Thou Shalt Not Kill".....just because one makes a claim of being a member of a particular religion do not give them the right to change what was written in the bible so that they can intentionly perform violence on their fellow Man ...it only displays a lack of faith in the word of God The Scriptures are not the Bible. the Bible was translated from the scriptures. If you think there were unicorns....where are they today.......the correct word and meaning was that of "a wild oxen" Now go and look up online the word kill and the different wordS with an S. Then find the scripture and refer to the meaning in hebrew and you will find MURDER. In the Sciptures there are 3 hells, 3 heavens, 3 Jesus.....you will find one a Roman, one the son of Nun, and the Christ. Jesus is an Enlandnized name....he has a Hebrew name....he has the same name as Josuah the son of Nun. Josuah is an Englandized name Yehosuah. You don't know anything about the truth if you don't go to the SCRIPTURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 Mary's, NOE is the same as Noah if you read in the new testament Noe......would you know it is Noah in Greek.....nope! Thou shalt not murder! In fact it reads more like this "one no murder" Go to a Strong's online....it will open a whole new Bible to you. The truth of God...not "This is what I thunk!" OH MY GOSH, how petty is this?....... there is NO FREAKING difference between killing and murder. Bottom line is you take someone's life, that's it. They are what we call a synonym. tell that to the law,,or try to explain to our men and women in uniform they are murderers, or explain to those who brought down the armed shooter at our courthouse that they are murderers intent is the heart of the definition and makes quite a bit of difference,,, |

intent is the heart of the definition and makes quite a bit of difference,,, I have no problem with this at all Msharmony. However, let's face it, the Ten Commandments does not say: "Thou shalt not kill without good reason". It simply says, "Thou shalt not kill". So, if God is so wise, then why couldn't he write his commandments with a tiny bit more clarity? It wouldn't have taken all that much for an all-powerful God. A book that claims to be the "Word of God" should not be so full of ambiguity that its words can't even be trusted to mean what they say. That would just leave generations of people arguing with each other over what God actually meant. And guess what, that's precisely what we now have! Do you think that a God who was going to write a book woudln't have been wise enough to figure that one out? Again, just more reason to reject this book as being the "Word of God". It's too unclear, ambiguous, and self-contradicting. |

It's too unclear, ambiguous, and self-contradicting. well, that is taking a position that God should have spoken in every tongue to every person in every language, current and future. The original gospels do take translation, because they were not in our English. That is why it is best to study the bible (as we were taught, but perhaps others werent) as a TRANSLATION of Gods gospel. To understand in depth, one should logically, go to the original text and learn all they can about the history of the words and the context in which they are used. In fact, some things are more confusing when taken in their literal translation to english. These are things I would recommend people take the time to dig into further by referring to the original text. ,,,for whatever my opinion is worth |

Not at all my friend! It is those who are his that will die at the hands of those who think they do God's will. If I am of the first resurrection, I will be as it says I will be. Read! I will find no pleasure in one dying only sadness of a lost could have been brother. I leave because ther is no purpose here. Only those called by the Father come to Christ. I can do nothing one way or the other but care and try to clear up confusion. but it runs too deep here. Even the simple is beyond scope. I do not save souls....God does that. I only wanted to help if I could and I cannot. I move on to other things! Watch the Europeon Union, in the next few years much will happen. According to the religion you've chosen to believe in you've got enough guilt to worry about with Jesus' blood on your hands. You don't need to pick up anymore guilt here. |

shouldnt be if it was all about US,, but it isnt,, and he didnt,, and he expects US to do some work... What a can of worms that opens up. Now we're supposed to question the Word of God? Well, I have. I've done quite a bit of work on it, and my conclusion is that the entire Abrahamic mythology is nonsense. That's my conclusion. So hooray for me! I've moved on to the Moon Goddess of Wicca and found a far better picture, there. Also, with her blessings, I've studied the Faery Teachings, and the many forms of Pantheism and Animism. They all have made far more sense than the Hebrew and Greek mythologies. And nary a one of them as taught me to kill anyone, no heathens, no unruly children, no sinners, etc. No Killing required. Even more so, I don't need to condone having anyone nailed to a pole either. In fact, I don't need to condone any violence at all. So I guess I did my fair share of work and it paid off. |
