Hades is not just a garbage depot somewhere on the outskirts of Jerusalem ... Curious how people keep bringing that one up, that Hell was a legend or myth based upon the idea of this burning landfill outside Jerusalem. The New Testament would argue otherwise. Lucifer was not thrown into a dumpster for his betrayal, he was cast into Hell, a Hell that did not exist until Lucifer's exile. |

One of the things I like about the Mingle Upgrade is that you have the ability to see who said YES to you on Mutual Match. That's a good thing because it can eliminate a lot of guesswork. It's nice to have it right up front. So, if you've read any of my four hundred thousand trillion posts I've made so far, you know that I'm having a hard time finding anyone I like. Well, let's be honest -- I'm having a hard time finding anyone I might even think about possibly considering to imagine I could maybe ponder some incredibly unlikely circumstance of wanting to actually get to know. Or something like that. I got lost halfway through that last sentence. Apparently, it ends up in Pittsburgh, though. Anyway, today I looked at the people who said YES and I was stunned. Amazed. Shocked. Other similar words. There was a new picture, a new user, someone I had never seen before and thought "Wow, this is someone I could really get interested in!" Which tells you how shallow I really am, that I could think that just from a picture, when maybe she could be a serial killer, or Hitler's granddaughter, or somehow related to Billy Mays (which is worse than the Hitler thing). But her account has been deactivated! Well, sure, no doubt this was a scammer, someone who got caught pretty quickly (this site is really good at catching scammers; I've snagged a few myself!), but....it's just not fair. I finally see someone who appeals to me and -- POOF! -- she's gone! I can take some solace in believing that the picture I admired so much probably isn't even really her. She probably looks like Billy Mays. You still have me, Lex.

I think the fact that it only took about 14 seconds for her account to be nuked is a pretty good indicator that something's not quite right....! |

Ya know seems like every time I think I have a good one to talk to they disappear whoosh just like a ghost
 darn scammers and their sweet talking. Guess it could be worse I could talk to them for months before finding out.......... Kuddos to the site for eliminating scammers as they do.......

Yeah, I have been on sites where you report a scammer, you KNOW they are a scammer, they basically ADMIT they are a scammer, and the site refuses to take any action even though they allegedly want you to report scammers. Seriously, there is one site where I have never received a message that WASN'T from a scammer. I think only scammers are allowed to sign up there, which makes me wonder how I got in. Maybe I'm suffering from scamophrenia and I don't know it. |
