GM is going to invest 3 billion dollars in China in the next few years. Why can't we buuild the cars here and ship them over there????

Why can't we buuild the cars here and ship them over there???? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5156346/ Because they can't pay people 50 cents an hour over here. Not to mention, even if they DID decide to build them here, China's restrictions on imports would put such large tariffs on the vehicles that GM wouldn't actually be able to sell any over there. What a great " fair trade " concept. But yet, our " leaders " will do NOTHING about it. There is no such thing a fair trade practices. |
