Smiling at Strangers

It's a rural vs. city thing. When I moved to Chicago I would smile and nod to strangers who just looked at me aghast. It's a different world in the Big City.

Did Hell already exist?
|
|
Hell existed prior to Christianity. It was Hel or Helheim (ruled by Hel) in Norse mythology and it was Tartaros or Hades (ruled by Hades) in Greek mythology. There are many other examples in world mythology. Christians adopted them into their own mythology basically in the same form.
These locations existed long before the Semites conceived of the deity ha-Satan (Jewish) and sheytan (Arabic), and therefore before Christians could swipe and translate the deity to be Satan. So Hell existed before Satan. |

I believe you can actually click a button and chat with someone if you go to their profile and they are online.
At least, I have had some very nice "women" from Ghana try that with me in the short time I have been here. |
