I admit that a shirtless pic is OK for me so I can see whether they have body hair. If they do *eww* and I know I am not interested!

I would say that men do too look at profiles. What would be the point of emailing someone you have no interest in, and if you are interested you would want to know more about them. Besides, it gives you someplace to start a conversation without looking like your only half trying.

Uh huh. Tell that to the shirtless men. Actually he's right. And while women claim to not want to see pics of shirtless men, they seem to get better results than those who don't. Other things of note are that women should be looking up, and the bottom line for both sexes is attitude. People make their decisions in two seconds after they see the picture, and if they detect positive attitude it's a thumbs up. Negative attitude from the pic gets a thumbs down. When writing words like 'hi', 'hello', 'hey' all got bad results. The best results came when there was no greeting at all.. Eh, I'll talk to anyone here at first. If they're not interesting, then it won't last long.. decent picture or not. About the shirtless men, that's exactly what I was saying. He said that men with humor and a strong facial picture get more notice and you're saying the opposite. Same can be said about women with less clothing, I'm sure. |

I wear my clothes bigger, always have. When I was 18 this gross guy tried hitting on me and commented that he was disappointed at how baggy my shirt was, because he couldn't "see the goods." Ah, yes, all the more reason to wear my clothes bigger than ever.....

Yes, and rarely. Usually, I look at the profile, read it, and parse out the used cow food, ultimately being left with, you guessed it, just the pictures. |

If someone clicks on my picture I figure they are reading my profile. I figure they don't get upset if I click back on their picture and read their profile then. It makes logical sense to me that way. Wouldn't it be cool if relationship were logical? But then what is logic, anyways? And can people both have identical logics? I guess looking at pictures is less confusing.

We drool over the pictures and THEN we read the profile. We have to find ways to drool in person right???? Seriously though, I'll check out pictures briefly then read into it. If it seems written by a robot or GaN$T3R 13 year old, I'll move on even if I like the pictures. |

In all honesty,the picture is the draw but I always go to the profile & since I smoke & don't hunt,fish,drink,own a boat or a bike & see a woman's interests lean in those directions I move on.I've met enough women who didn't read mine & it ended up a waste of time for both of us.I've always been practical & there's no use stopping now.
