Topic: Is God an Atheist | |
---|---|
while discussing religion the religious will sometime claim that Atheism is a religion or a belief ...but what is an Atheist or Atheism ....is it a religion a belief or a label that is forced upon the non-religion by the religious ...
the most logical way to explain what Atheism and/or an Atheist truly is while at the same time pop the religious into reality as to what it really is would be to ask this simple question ....is God an Atheist?... yes or no and why |

If god is an atheist wouldn't that mean he had low self-esteem, since he just didn't believe in himself?

Atheism is characterized on the belief and non belief in GOD whatever or whoever you perceive him to be. Asking whether God is an atheist is like asking if God believes if he exist? what the ****!

Hummmmmm could it not be this is one time the ball falls back on the Atheist for they in fact took that label?

If god is an atheist wouldn't that mean he had low self-esteem, since he just didn't believe in himself? is it low self-esteem for God "not to believe" that another more powerful God created him.... |

Asking whether God is an atheist is like asking if God believes if he exist? what the ****! wouldn't God also have a non belief in a God more powerful than himself ....so why wouldn't this classify him as being an Atheist and his non-belief a religion |

Well, it depends on the god.
The god I ascribe to is just source energy, which is not really a singular, conscious being. It's all energy and all possibility. This (a) makes it easy for me to argue religion, since I don't really have one (hehe) and (b) come to realize that most religions want an "all-knowing" being as their central point - most. I guess god could be a little worried about that... but that's almost impossible to really narrowed down. Most religions are pretty open about the only wanted you to be a part of theirs. Some even go so far as to say there's a hell if you believe something different. But... on the other hand, god might not know he exists, but if that's the case he still wouldn't be an atheist, because he wouldn't know if he didn't exist. |

But... on the other hand, god might not know he exists, but if that's the case he still wouldn't be an atheist, because he wouldn't know if he didn't exist. Plastic_pancakes...so wouldn't that mean that God has a religious belief that there isn't any Gods above him |

God cannot be an atheist because that would be an oxymoron. That would be like you or I saying we don't believe in humans. Of course God isn't going to believe in other God's besides him because there is none. But still nevertheless he CAN NOT be athiest because he obviousely will believe in himself, God of all. |

MsHarmony...there are those that also do not consider themselves to be Atheist but yet the religious claim that they are....so why wouldn't the same apply to God .... |

atheism is the belief in no God at all. God cannot be an atheist because that would be an oxymoron. Cowboy...it isn't an oxymoron because there may be other Gods more powereful than him ...and if he doesn't believe there is then this constitute him as being an Atheist |

He can not be an atheist because that would be claiming he didn't know who he was and obviousely he does for he tells us he is God, Father, The begining and The end. |

Obviously, those women dont believe they come out either women or men, but are whatever they 'feel' they are. So my point was .. what does what others might believe have to do with what I believe or what God says? |

A = without Theos = God (not God mightier than thou, or other Gods , but ANY God) MsHarmony...you just given the perfect explanation why God is an Atheist ...you are claiming that God has a belief that there is no God beyond him...if anything it makes God a Pantheist |
