No. He doesn't. He has until November for the country to start pulling out of the recession and that " Hope and Change " he touted to start showing up.

If it doesn't, as much as I hate to say it, the Democrats are going to get smoked in the elections.

If/when that happens, he won't be able to get anything done.

People right now feel pretty hopeless. More and more jobs are being lost. High paying jobs are basically non existent. Things are not getting better.

He has three years to work still.

November ain't nothin.

He will continue to work right through it.

They would be worse if we had fell into the depression that was coming if nothing was done so they are better off than they know.

If that happens, he can " work " all he wants, but he won't get a damn thing done.

They aren't seeing any progress. They are still losing their jobs. New jobs aren't being created.

If the Republicans can convince them ( like Obama did with Hope and Change ) that they have a better idea, the people will do exactly what they did to the Republicans a couple of years ago.

The Dems have been in control in the Congress for the last four years. Two of them under Bush.

Nothing got done by the Dem congress under Bush though so we know it wasn't them.

I haven't actually watched a cable news network in a couple of years so I wouldn't know to what extent the others actually had coverage.

Did they have any reporters there doing interviews to find out why people were there??

Ok. So you know that FOX is entertainment. But yet, you rely on MSNBC or some other source.

But...in your post, you say that people watch what they do and believe what they do " because they want to " and make no mention of the fact that you watch and listen to what you do because YOU want to.

You already have the bias that you have, so therefore, you watch whatever channels agree with your bias and demonize the channels that don't agree with you.

You watch the channels you watch because they consistently tell you that everything is just peachy keen and the government has everything under control. You believe it because you want to believe it.

How is that any better or worse than someone watching FOX??

My only problem with Faux news is that they call it news.

It is a comedy network showing all the ugliness in this country daily and giving it an outlet as if it is valid.

Sadly some folks who want to hear that kind of garbage actually believe it because they want to.

For me all they need to do is stop lying about being a news network and lying about being "fair and balanced" and I have no issues with them.

If they would call themselves the right wing hatred invoking comedy network, they would be more on spot.

The problem, in general, is that there are a whole lot of commentators ( Olbermann, Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly ) that are attempting to pass themselves off as " news " sources.

They aren't. They comment and give their opinions. Nothing more than that.

The sooner people realize that, the better off this country will be.
