No, the world isn't going to end on Dec 21st 2012 as most believe, or what's been said. It's just going to be the beginning of a new era. After the pole flip, there will be new continents, old ones will sink (like atlantis did). New oceans,lakes and rivers will form, old ones will be displaced to form new ones. New seasons. I just saw that movie. Great special effects! |

Humanity seems to be trained distrusting any news of the impending Doom -- so that when the real disaster would strike (and, unfortunately, it will -- sooner or later) we, as usually, will shrug it off as just another attempt at scaring us off. (though, I wish I knew how to pray because, it seems, only a preyer might save us...  ):
Though the 2012 date may have been slightly exaggerated, nevertheless the general alarm may not be far from reality – that period, according to the NASA’s Near-Earth Object Program Office, would be the 1st opportunity of estimating the trajectory of the massive Apophis asteroid, when it makes another close approach, within about 14 million kilometers of Earth! This particular asteroid, around three football fields in size, was first spotted heading towards Earth 5 years ago. It was suggested then there was a 2.7% chance it would strike our planet in 2029. It may almost gaze the Earth, missing by only 30,000 kilometers, less than the distance between Earth and the moon. However, there’s a very small chance it will pass through a 600 meter-wide “gravitational keyhole” as it swings by. That would alter its course and cause it to slingshot back and hit the Earth in 2036.
New NASA calculations released in October rate the chance of impact during the second pass at 1 in 250,000 – quite a slim chance. However, as Dr. William Ailor, of California Aerospace Corp. said, “That’s a pretty high probability if you’re betting the planet.” (He also chaired the biannual Planetary Defense Conference of the world’s leading asteroid experts) Meanwhile the head of Russia’s space agency, Anatoly Perminov, has called for a massive planetary effort – inviting NASA, the European Space Agency and the Chinese space agency to join in -- to deflect a massive asteroid as it skips by Earth in 2029: “We should pay several hundred million dollars and build a system that would allow us to prevent a collision, rather than sit and wait for it to happen and kill hundreds of thousands of people: a spacecraft must be built designed to nudge the Apophis asteroid away from Earth.” P.S. Ailor points out that the 1908 asteroid that exploded over Tunguska in Siberia was only 30 meters across. It devastated more than 2,000 square kilometers of forest. APOPHIS is 270 meters in diameter!!! * * * * * * * * * * “It won’t likely be a doomsday rock, if it will hit the Earth directly – probably not the end of life, as we know it -- but a very bad day,” Ailor said. (DUH?)

I hope I am still alive to at least see what happens on December 12, 2012...just for curiosity's sake!...still trying to decide how I will spend the day?...probably just go to work like any other day...I know I am not going to go hide in some bunker somewhere though!
 Have any of you made plans yet on how you will pass the time on that day? any good ideas??

Oh yeah, I suggest you buy yourself a cemetry plot ahead of time. Dec 11th, 2012, at 11:55 pm, you arrive there with the bag of snacks and water, and waite. Might take a while, though! But you cannot leave the site -- even for the toilet!!! However, at exactly 00:00:01 of Dec.13, 2012, you're free to return home, unless your a persistent type and willing to waite a while longer.  * * *

Well, thanks God (or whomever), but the Apophis threat has been recalculated and reduced to 4 in 500,000 -- still, in cosmic proportions, that's too much!

Also, the New World Order is nothing more than the Old World Order of Atlantis. Not the end of the world, just the beginning of a new era. The first time this planet x caused the pole shift was at Noah's Flood, the second time it passed by us 3,600 yrs after the flood was at 'The Exodus' with all the plagues. Now it's here again to cause havoc here on earth. Every 2nd passing is when it does the most damage. The increased earthquakes are caused by this inbound planet. Bah, believe whatever, I don't even care anymore...I'm tired of explaining the same thing to people that can just as well look it up.
