Sometimes I come across as mean or rude. I don't mean to... but I guess on occasion I do. When I was just a rookie cop and had only about 6 months out, a sergeant pulled me aside and had a pretty serious talk with me about the fact that I "smile too much". Those were his exact words. So, from then on out I was much more serious and "business like". Years go by and I find out I have a reputation for being a *****, unfriendly and unapproachable to my co-workers. At least until they got to know me, then they decided I was okay. I guess this tells me that I have a hard time finding the "happy medium" in life. Which is true. I have always struggled with extremes in my life. |

Their are times when I am "too nice". I try to see the good in all people, and that has burned me in the past.

Okay, maybe "character flaw" is too strong of a term. How about "annoying trait"? What is one thing about you that your friends or family have told you they don't really care for or an area that you need to improve upon. And, "I'm too nice and caring" doesn't count.

They tell me I'm too soft spoken and never voice my opinion.

3. I give in too easily when someone asks me to do something when I really don't want to do it. I have a firend who does that. She cannot say no. This character flaw will end up killing you. You have to stop.
