Just my thoughts, I'm sure everyone deals with it differently. In a commited relationship cheating is the ultimate betrayal and the relationship is over when the trust is shattered. First thing you should realise is that even if it's cliche it's also true , "you can do better". A cheater is more than just a liar they traded your feelings for another persons or even worse traded them just for a good time. They also may have put your health at risk. For me I don't regret ending the relationship and walking away asap at all. I found out whole lot more things after I got her out my life ( it's amazing how many people can't wait to tell you things after you split) . I also found I was a much happier person without her. I hope everything works out for you. Try not become jaded there are loads of great people out there.

Once you realize it's not about you... the cheater did so because of their own issues. You have to come to the conclusion that it was a bad experience with someone that wasn't honest.
Work on yourself... love yourself... take up a new hobby... be happy and content with yourself... and when it's time, you will know it... and the right person will come along. Sorry about your experience... best wishes. |

It was the most difficult thing I ever had to endure. Now, I look back on it and wonder why I gave a hoot.

Music: Slayer, Slipknot, Opeth, anything angry or just fast and hard.
Drink: Red Bull Game: Hokey Pokey Pills: Speed Now do this for about three hours, pass out from exhaustion, wake up 14 hours later and appreciate life. That is all!!! |

Pretend that if somebody cheats on you, they somehow cease to exist.
It's a pretty neat trick if you can convince your mind to go for it. |

YOU DON'T.....
You will ALWAYS remember it, embrace it, except it. and to cheat once,,,is to many..... as THEY WILL do THAT again.... I am sorry if this happen to you...but it is a very hard lesson to feel, and learn.... |

I have found that focusing some of the time I had been spending previously on learning to do new things and spending time with my good friends, helped me immensely. I still have some trust issues, but I am getting over them one day at a time.

Oh this is easy.
The first thing that pops into my little mind is "Free at last free at last thank God All Mighty! I'm FREE AT LAST!" When a nasty bit of person exposes their hand: liar, cheater, twit etc etc I'm very happy to be shot of them rather than mourn a relationship that was never "true". I promptly dispose of any item of the twit's including anything that might remind me of them. I make a sort of party out of it, playing joyous music and chucking the wears, goods and material items into a box performing a little dance around the box as children do. I see how many points I can collect from a distance while taking free shots into the box from a distance. I then leave the box in a secure place, but in a place I will not have to see or deal with the twit. Once that is done I remove his phone number/s from my celly, his email address from my email accounts and remove him from any other online site he might be. Finally I tell my heart to have a Coke and a smile and to shut the hell up. It will get what it needs NOT what it wants. |

Castration....
Or threats to do so, have always worked for me. Never been cheated on. Gotta love farm life, where you hog tie a goat, slice open the nut sack, cut and crimp the tubes, and pour some iodine on it. No numbing necessary. Or steer calves where you put what's essentially a rubberband around their nuts and it rots off. Do this while the boyfriend is around, and no problems... Plus a good laugh while they turn green. Men can be such woosies! |

Just need a little advice Cheating is a sign of weakness of the cheater, plus a lack of character, or more specifically, a lack of morals and respect for their partner. As with all emotional wounds, they will heal over time. You just have to tell yourself you're the better person and to give yourself time. |
