Hey why not, everyone else does it..complain about something you hate to deal with that you dealt with today. Me personally, I hate shopping...I hate it the ways slugs hate salt. I avoid shopping whenever possible, my friends invite me, I say no. Christmas comes and I've pretty much gotten everything done before the rush..seems like obligatory spending rather than actually buying for someone because you were thinking of them so I only shop for the kids in my family and everyone pretty much understands I'm just not a Christmassy person. But back to the shopping. WHY can't people drive in a parking lot or manuever a shopping cart or keep in their own personal space when passing by or have at least an idea of what they want when they step out of their homes to go shopping so that they're not a fleshy traffic jam in every isle of a store? I know what I want when I leave and think of the quickest route to each item, grab it and pay for it so that I can spend my time doing something more enjoyable. Anyone else?

I hate when the electorless line at work plates out, and when there's a "rack crash" on the Ludy line. And when I get backed up on both lines, and my boss asks me why I'm not moving "hot" jobs. Oh, and working weekends for no reason. There's more but I'll just leave it at that for now. laugh

Don't worry, neither does corporate. laugh It's printed circuit board manufacturing. I plate them.

I also hate the cold, how it dries out my skin. I'm too pretty for these harsh northern winters.

Yay! I have days where I have nothing to complain about too...it's usually a day spent in the mountains or camping though LOL. You guys ever notice how many views each topic gets compared to replies....amazing. Everyone seems to like reading and showing no interest or just can't figure out what to say.

Oh nice. I agree, the cold is the suck. Fortunately CA doesn't get nearly as cold as a lot of other places, but even the 30's is pretty terrible to me. I'm a wussy when it comes to winter; anything below 65 is no good to me lol

It's this time of year that makes me wonder why I ever moved back up north. I miss my little secluded home in GA.

But, I'm glad to be closer to family, especially now that they are getting older. I'm glad I was able to see some before they passed on as well. I'm also glad to see some new family members as well. I guess it's not that bad after all. laugh

I'll second your gripe about thoughtless shoppers. I don't do Christmas well either, but my gripe is for all the ditherers who decide to do their dithering IN THE CENTER OF THE AISLE. That, or they park their cart directly opposite what they want to bend over and stare at, so they form a perfect wall across the path.
Fortunately for them , I do NOT carry mace.

I absolutely LOVE Christmas.

What I can't stand is the fact that everyone expects something.

Christmas is an interesting hoilday. First was the celebration of the mid winter break and then that time was also adopted by most religions.

Did you know christmas is actually called christ-mass. Meaning the death of christ. So you are really saying merry death to christ.

Christmas now is a secular holiday. Very little religion behind it. Its more commercial, buy, buy, buy. Business RELY on christmas to help with yearly sales. Santa is really the face of a multi-billion dollar industry.

Im really one to talk though, I spent over a $1,000 this christmas.

I'm with ya on that one. shopping....yawn .
Once in a great blue moon will meander around a department store but hardly buy anything. Do like buying things for people that know will enjoy tho, yet that was long ago and far away when there was such a thing as having a little extra money...
