AGE is a state of mind.I'm 35 and i feel like i am 18 still.Of course activity levels play a major role in that.I took care of my elderly relatives for a long time and i will say this in my observation in life.....stay active.Keep moving and don't sit on that rocker on the front porch knitting.

I have to agree with you Jay...my dad was very young looking and very healthy for his age for a long time. I think you do have to stay active!!

I think age is just a number too. But too many guys are not ready to have children at an early age. I say as long as a girl is old enough to where you can take her seriously, love and respect her, that she is old enough to be your woman.

But then I'm not in Chicago, so maybe I should not comment?

I'm not in Chicago-but here goes. I've dated younger and older men. Maturity does not come with a number,nor does compatibility. When you have chemistry with someone,you have it. Whether they are 10 years younger or 10 years older. Connecting with someone spiritually,intellectually,and emotionally is far more important than what decade they were born in.

I don't know about other men my age, but I am extremely attracted to younger women...I don't think they are good for me though. My ex was 7 yrs younger, and we were never on the same page. I always blamed that on the age difference, but I guess I shouldn't judge the tree by one bad apple. Anyway, I rarely ever persue younger women that I like because of that. But, man, those 20 to 30 yr olds make my heart skip a beat! Luckily, Dave, my daughters are only 9 and 6, so I don't have that guilty factor....yet!

In my experience age difference IS a big factor.

Yes, I am attracted to younger women. NOT because they are younger but because they are of childbearing years. I believe it is only natural for virile men of any age to be attracted to women who are able to bear children. Not that I actually want more kids...

But, when a woman 15 years younger rejects me using the excuse that I am too old for her why does she then marry a man 4 years older than me?

guy's 35 to 45 have learned to appreciate a women no matter how old or young she may be.not to say some of them don't still think they are 21, but most men see a women for what she is and how she carries her self not for how old she is.I think it is ok for a women 20 to date a man 40 to 50 and I think its the same for an older women when she dates a younger man,if your grown and mature whats age but a number?

I think a 20 year old women is too young for a 45 year old man.
IMO. Unless she is VERY mature for her age. I know women mature
sooner then men. I can see a 30 year old women dating a 45 year old man. I had a friend that married a younger women, when he bought a new house and didn't want to go to the bars, just relax and enjoy the new house, they soon separated. She wanted
to keep going to bars/partying. They are divorced. It lasted 1 year.

I personally don't think age matters as long as you're happy together. I think older guys are hot, my sisters both tell me to find someone who is like ten years older than me. I've never had a problem with older guys though it's usually the guys my age that get on my nerves, no offense to anyone. I'm a pretty likable person and very sweet If you want to be with an older guy you will find one that doesn't look down on you like a child.

Yah 10 years isn't a problem, maybe even 15. I am 45 but never act like an older man. I still feel like I am 25+. Its all in your mind. I just think a 20 year old women might be way too wild. Its nice to relax and watch a good movie. Bars are not for me anymore. I have tried many other places, but where I live all the good women are taken. A friend of mine told me a joke thats true. Women are like parking places. All the good ones are taken.

I prefer dating younger women. But there is differences in personalities as well as maturities. I have talked to many women in many different age ranges.

But I would never talk down to a person. I try to respect everyone as long as they show me the same respect.
