Yeah, pipe smoking is cheaper in the long run but it's a lot more work putzing with the dang thing the whole time. But then that's part of the reason to smoke a pipe in the first place - something to fiddle with for a while.

Dad smokes a pipe, has since we were kids. Went to thrift store a month back, saw a pipe holder n tobacco canister in one, sw it and instantly turned into a kid again. Felt like home again. Had to buy it, so now it sits on my coffee table.Bought another made out of pure teak wood.Diff, but niice.

I have to say my pipes are much more popular than my cigars. :P Funny how many people will say something to me when I'm smoking a pipe.
