Fanta, That I can't answer since I'm not the president....YET ![]() I would assume it's out of courtesy. Courtesy? We arent Canada or Australia. We didn't wait until they got tired of us and gave us Independence. We kicked their Royal butts out and took our Independence. |

The second sentence in our Declaration of Independence states, We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Why would any US President bow to any Royal? Esp. the Queen or King of England. It erks me every time I see it happen. Does it give you a problem, he bowed to the Saudi King and to a Jap Emporer? |

my best friend Ray swears that no president should ever bow to another leader
it pissed him off when Bush did it and when Obama did it as for me it just seems like a courtesy. Like shaking hands Obama did overdo it a little bit though. He bowed way too deep and he was suppose to keep his eyes on the emperor |
