Humm most likely what I said last time it happen. Due to it happen way too soon within less then 4 dates even though we had talked a lot.

I told them that was very sweet & thank you even though I cared for them that was not something I could say that quick and when and if I did it would be from the heart.....................I feel that one should acknowledge when one tells you something like that and it should not be ignored but to me it is best to be honest with them and not beat around the bush....


And no it did not last for I never had those feelings towards them which I was honest and told them. I've never been one to play one or just keep them around in order to have someone.

Love is a vague term that people use loosely which has a different meaning as there are people that use it

because a person say they love you may not mean they are in love with you

so it may be best to reply with a non-sexual response to deflect the topic off yourself ...such as ...if more people had love in their heart this would be a better world...then grab their hand and sing

I figured out very early in life that its best to just bite my tongue if I feel anything before a guy tells me that he does..That way if he never says it I don't come off looking like a doof..lol.

You know it really depends on the situation! I have had one say it before i met her and i let her know you need help with that! I have in other cases had feelings but not love and wasn't sure what to say and said i dont know what to say???? It's a crappy feeling though and it almost always ends right there!

I have just said thank you and changed the subject. If i don't feel i sure am not going to say it just cuz the other did.
