I know how tough that first year is without the kids. Hang in there, you will eventually learn to find the enjoyment of this "downtime". But, it takes time. My thoughts and prayers are with you today.

Too funny, I bought a bottle specifically for today too!!! That cork is waiting for it's release! Thank you, it is hard. Also my first year without my mother since I lost her in June. I'm good I am thankful for what I do have and friends like you on mingle make these days a lot better.

Their holiday is gonna be pretty somber as well. |

let's see...I'm gonna eat..then i'm gonna be upset over the news. then i'm gonna weightlift..to drive off my adrenalin....then I'm gonna wait....and then wait more...might drive down the road see what's up in the town....drive back...eat dinner with my mom...and then...
