imo which does not account for much
both parties should be on the terrorist watch list no two organizations have done more to destroy the constitution than the republican and democratic parties |

put all the democrats on one side and all the republicans on the other what would happen? Which side would have a higher unemployment rate? which side would have higher taxes? Which side would flourish or die and which side would succeed or fail and why? I do not see why anyone would like to flee to a side that would have an over 50% tax rate. Not to mention who would like to start a business in such a sittuation. There would be so little economic and technological development it'd be pathetic. I think both would ultimately fail. The Democratic side because of economics, and the Republican side because of social values. There would be no rich on the democratic side because that seems to be the answer for any monetary issue: tax the rich. It would be a nation of "equals" where nobody lives well but everyone gets by. The fact is, a nation such as this will not be able to compete on the world marketplace. If you do not heavily tax imports, manufacturing and production will never survive. When the average worker will be making around $15-20 an hour (so there is some left after your check gets raped for taxes) for some job a partially-trained monkey can do, inflation hits hard. Inflation weakens currency and creates a very large trade deficit. This is the root of the failure. It would be an exaggerated view of our current manufacturing industries. A modern nation cannot survive this way. However, the social limitations of the far right in respect to religion would create a facist state. Economically, the state could thrive and while you assume that the EPA and every agency will just disappear, the free market will regulate this to an extent and do so far more efficiently. Ultimately, this lack of freedom will lead to reduced productivity and a religious state a la Israel or Saudi Arabia. So long as you can keep "morality" out of the workplace and keep workers happy, it will thrive far beyond any other - provided defense spending can be kept in check and the nation keeps its troops where they belong. |

Hope and universal love will be the future. No need for regrets For mistakes made yesterdayThe past will be goneNo looming fate No uncontrolled destiny No hunger No sickness No fear No death Nothing ahead Nothing behind Just stillness Light Warmth The pain you felt, and the pain you may have caused others will be behind you. No looking backNo fear of what will come Just the pulse of time Invigorating Soothing We will bask in the light Taking comfort knowing that we will never be alone

I think they would both wither and collapse we need the liberals and conservatives and Republicans and Democrats to balance and check the excesses of each Where, pray tell, are you actually seeing the balance at this point??? I recently heard the Dems basically say " Screw the republicans if they don't agree with the Health Care bill...we don't need them anyway. We know what's best for the country and we'll pass it whether people want it or not. " I don't see any checks and balances there. |

Republicans would become so overbearing with their outlandish ideals that they would end up having a revolution within a few years. Religion would be the major revolution, over whose is right. Then the richer would make sure that the poorer stay in their place causing a revolution. Then the gay republicans would be found out and lynched. Etc... I would rather be on the Democratic side because even though there would be problems it would be hell on the Republican side. are you sure you're not a Liberal ?...those comments are right out of the Liberal handbook... |

Hmm,,,social equality (to me) is when the natural prejudices and built in privileges of society no longer influence the quality or accessibility of basic needs and rights, such as education, healthcare, employment,,,,etc,,, We can never make things perfect, but we should always strive to make them better,,,for EVERYONE. well it's not that we disagree, really we don't! Except i dont think people are entilted to be given those things by others. They should work for them on their own. So healthcare being another huge tax i have to pay without any benefit to me sucks! My healthcare cost is merely a $100 a month and that tax is gonna be far higher! Half my income is enough, now they want 60%, thats wrong! I dont believe in something for nothing but I believe that if Everyone pitches in every one deserves something back. In a system where all working adults pay taxes, prejudices and built in privileges should be something we work to diminish as much as possible. |

if we split the country in two...I could guarantee that the side the democRATS reside in would have:
(1) More High School drop outs (2) More STD's (3) More Crime (4) Higher Taxes (5) Bigger Deficits (6) More abortions (7) More Tyranny (8) Less Freedom (9) Weaker Defense (10)More Government Control (11)Less Productivity (12)More Mysery (13)More Fatherless homes (14)Less God (15)and lastly...for a first hand example...just look at any major city...the Dem's have been running them for decades... |
