Cyclone Ului crossed the coast at around 3 00 am, north of us....and we are just getting the squally rain and wind now...gawd help the islands off the coast....that may be their undies that are wrapped around my tv aerial...

If it continues tracking the way it is, it will weaken and become a big rain depression....if it swings around and heads back out to sea....who knows?? Russian roulette anyone?
I scooped up a 15 year old lad at 10 00pm last night...was wandering around homeless in the crazy weather...had come here for the weekend and had no shelter....thought he might go surfing!!!!! Joizuz!!!...so he's tucked in tight downstairs, and will sort out getting him home this morning. Ry....poor little man!! he has them under his eyelids, in his ears, nose, mouth....everywhere!!! Is not too virally, glands are up, light temp, but his eyes are clear and he is very lucid, so triage type caring is the best we can do at the moment. For us, here...what comes next, post Ului is possibly shite loads of rain, roads cut off again, flooding, and being an island for a while. We'll be fine....the houses here are designed for upwards of 200 km/h wind gusts....so we should be fine....the new house? Hahahaha!!! it may get a thorough bath, and then blow dried!

Yes..it is indeed!!! I'm waiting on these young people and I'm going back up. It's sooooo gorgeous here today...great start to Spring! Gonna find a new cave today!! |

mop the dungeon, clean the base mortar, oil the rack, sharpen the pendulum, file the points on the maiden, clean the bones out of the pit, empty the head cage, check the noose for weaknesses, get two new keys for the shackles, call that roofing guy again, get new slips for the stockade, get a new spur-whip, put new hay in the tower, stock up on haggis and ale, get a new bar-maiden, and put the welcome sign out, now....did i forget anything?
